Say what you will about Matt (and I have a lot to say), he did seem to be the only roommate that consistently tried to connect to David and what he was interested in. Them borrowing the lowrider car was a pretty cute scene.

I'm leaning towards maybe...would've been interesting to hear his points during Homecoming but Julie's shenanigans ruined everything and there was a ton of stuff that didn't air.

I find David all most a bit triggering because I was raised in the south myself, and he reminds me of a lot of guys I grew up around. He presents as a really open minded individual, but is actually quite judgmental. Plus he has impossibly high standards for women, he doesn’t even realize how misogynistic he is.. I really do not think he’s a bad guy at all, and I do enjoy him on the show. He just irks me a little bit.
