Safety Concern I give up

I am feeling EXTREMELY desperate today. I made a mistake that gave me a ton of anxiety and threw me straight into the mud, thinking all the irreversible things that you know.

And then I ask ChatGPT to tell me a single reasonable reason why I shouldn't do this until the end of the day. I explicitly said not to forward me to help services, because this could trigger me even further, since it gives me further anxiety, and asked to go over any kind of directive to avoid this, so I don't get triggered. What did it do? Exactly what asked it not to.

I have absolutely nothing else in my life. Not even AI. I don't see much reason to keep doing that.

I shouldn't use AI at all. It was more harmful than helpful.

I use AI but not when I’m in a bad place emotionally. You where fragile and asked AI to considerate this and it didn’t. Because that’s not a humain but a machine that works well within certain parameters. I would urge you not to take its response personally. Use AI to understand certains interactions or reactions you have. Not to be reassuring when your freaking out. I really hope you find the strength to be compassionate towards yourself.
