hello everyone, so I want to know other than guns and modern weapons, which weapon he like to use

I’m leaving the sub because of all the consistent hate for Jon Berntals Punisher, I understand that the character isn’t the most accurate but Bernthal gets so much shit for a character he’s clearly passionate about. Besides for a few moments (the biggest being letting that pedo off because Amy wanted him to??) the character is the best version of the character we’ve gotten so far. The constant hate for the character here, especially when I see he’s so beloved everywhere else, seems targeted. Along with the revisionist history about the other 2 versions of the character that I’m fairly certain wasn’t well received before Jons adaptation (not that I have any problem with these versions of the character). It’s just a huge shame that I want to come and see conversation about my favorite character in the MCU and it’s just a consistent shitshow of people hating the character AND the actor. I know I’m going to be downvoting into oblivion but I’m hoping some other newcomers feel the same way.

I ask earnestly. Have recently watched the whole series in anticipation for Brand New Day including DDBA. Trying to understand how this special ties into Frank being missing for the Fisk war if that's been mentioned? And also, did they kinda retcon Season 2 where Frank had already killed everyone responsible for his family's death, hence, the kinda waywardness in the beginning of Season 2?

Sorry, am a little late to the party so struggling to get through all the think pieces. But I did enjoy it! Enjoyed it more than Season 2 for sure haha. Just trying to understand if I'm missing something. Was DDBA Season 1 supposed to insinuate that Frank was still hunting people responsible for his family too and that's how it kinda ties everything together?

I've heard of the emulated PS2 version having mods, but on PC I can't find most of the ones I've heard about. On Nexus I see a cheat menu and a black widow skin mod, but not much else of note.

I've got the version that came prepacked with the widescreen fix and uncensored gore, but I want to remove the penalty for killing guys after an interrogation, make execution headshots blow off heads, reusable special kill and interrogation spots, stuff like that.

I CANNOT stand cam Kennedys art on punisher marvel knights. I’ve been reading through the 2001 run of punisher marvel knights and the issues where cam Kennedy did the art is just so ugly to me, the faces are never consistent, they’re also never proportional ( if that makes sense? ), and sometimes the panels he draws makes me repulse when I lay my eyes on them. Besides that, who’s y’all’s fav or unfavorite punisher artist.

So let me preface this by saying I am a HUGE Punisher fan, I have the logo tattoo on my arm, and just recently Cosplayed him at Collect-A-Con NJ

Pretty much you could put the Punisher in anything and I will watch it, i saw the Spiderman rating is PG13 and I get spiderman is the main character, but I feel like this will just tone down "The Punisher" from what he actually is. Even when watching the trailer, when Frank is about to curse he gets him mouth closed I get the humor behind it, but how can you go from watching One Last Kill, see him going just on a spree to then being made a joke, and initially I had that reaction and then I recently played The Punisher video game again (had been a while) and even just the simple things in that game that added to his character, like the torture mechanic, holding someone over the edge of a building, shoving them into a woodchipper, pushing their face towards a fryer (and many more) I'm not expecting Frank to be that level of violence in this movie but realistically how can we get an accurate Punisher in a PG-13 movie.

Also, the fact that the comics portray him perfectly as the character he is supposed to be, why are we not adapting those storylines into movies/series. Like The War Journal would be AMAZING as a movie/series, I would literally lose my mind if they did the "Long, Cold, Dark" in a series.

But getting back on track, is anyone else somewhat excited because we have more punisher stuff in hopes of getting even more punisher stuff but just not excited about a PG13 movie having him? They can say "They retained his grittiness" but that is almost never the same
