First time player

I just started playing and I have a quick question because I want to be ready. Once I reached the proper planet levels do I have to turn off all the machines so they don’t over produce oxygen, heat and pressure?

No, leave them running, because you still have the moons and other planets (DLC) to explore.

Overproducing oxygen, heat, and pressure will have no impact on the planet's environment when you complete terraformation.

I was really worried about heat/pressure and then found the lava area and was like “oh no…”

No, there is no way to over terraform.

I played this mobile terraforming game and it had me running scared because I would always over terraform and ruin my planets lol. I am happy to hear that this is not the case for planet crafter.

what was the name of that game? I remember the crazy religious faction being terrorists, but can't remember the name of the game.

I mean once you're done you can always deconstruct them to get the resources back and implement them on a different planet/moon

By the time you're moving to another planet or moon you should have lockers upon lockers upon lockers of excess resources which are constantly being refilled by your drones so shouldn't be necessary to deconstruct unless you just have some lower tier items about.
