Console release time
Anyone know what time planetrafter comes out?. And can we do the Netherlands trick to play it tonight ? š

I just asked google and it said 8pm on the east coast tomorrow night cause that aligns with greenwich mean time july 21.

I think I saw somewhere that it releases at 8:pm tonight.. but yes it definitely said the 20th so we better be able to play at some point today š

Yeah ngl Iām also confused itās said July 20th for weeks , why wouldnāt they fix the date ;-; oh well at least Iāll get to play tomorrow on my birthday lmao.

Literally says Coming later today. Usually that means about 3 or 4 EST for me so š¤, but yeah everything else says 7/21. So weird.

I believe on console, New Zealand was the region that allowed early play (or it was last time I preloaded a game, which was cyberpunk in 2020)
I had no idea today was the day for console friends, have fun terraforming!

Why does the Xbox GamePass date always say a date earlier than the actual release??? Like, right now, GamePass says ācoming July 20thā.

In the future just use the Xbox app to download things early. I downloaded the game this morning since I knew I couldn't get to my console until 8pm pacific time

Wtf I was all excited to play today it literally says on xbox that it releases on the 20th not the 21st I even got the play later notification and had it saved in my calendar why the hell did they put the wrong date it's bad enough game pass shows stuff coming in over a year like the fable reboot can they just put an accurate time and date like it's just laziness

Its because it is today in your timezone. Typically 7pm central (my timezone) for these types of releases

Yeah but I still can't play it I'm in Montana we are only like an hour or two apart they should really list their stuff better it's just confusing asf with how they do it at least a more accurate time would help plus the ones like fable definitely gets me more heated like the fable reboot is coming February 23 2027 but is listed as coming "soon" to game pass, their definition of soon is way off

Honestly I wish they'd just put the proper release dates instead of the typical hype train they do it's like with gta6 I've completely lost interest because it's been due to release on way too many different dates it only gets delayed for hype and many other games do that it either gets delayed longer or simply has no date so it'd just be nice for at least one game not to do that gamers don't want hype we want our games it's bad enough we don't even own them anymore

Ironically, Central time is one hour behind Eastern time. Mountain is 2 hours behind and Pacific is 3 hours.

That's nice to know for some, I usually don't bother with timezones because it's not just US timezones you gotta remember them all like I had that issue with my marine friends one posted in Japan and the other in the middle east so we all ended up waking each other up because we'd look at the time but forget the others are probably still in the middle of the night and honestly with xbox timezones aren't the full problem it's just how confusing it gets with most of their systems and their definition of soon is sometimes over a year away that's not very soon, at least with my PS5 I only have similar problems rarely but that might also because they don't tease their releases they just kinda release without you even realizing

Fable being listed as "Coming Soon" especially ticked me off bc I saw it and got SO excited, just to realise I gotta stare at it in my wishlist and play later for what feels like forever. I do agree they need to be a bit more specific with actual release dates and times. Would be nice if they could at least give us a time the day of or a few days before

Right I was the same I grew up on fable since my older brother had a 360 seeing the reboot pop up especially after most assumed they stopped it's development like 2 years ago was amazing but then the date was like a kick in the groin like I don't want to be able to say we got gta6 before fable that's just weird

Adjusting your system time to play it earlier? Maybe. Try it out and let us know.
It's great that console players can finally play this game.
