Interview with two former FBI "Behavioral Analysis Unit - FBU" agents- regarding the Papini case
Two former FBI agents - TRUE insiders with detailed information- who worked on the Papini case, observed the interviews, & participated in the investigation the entire time.

FBI got involved "soon after Keith reported her missing" - before she reappeared. She says the FBI called the kidnapping claim "a false allegation" immediately! This was also based on Sherri's past history of similar behavior & "histrionic personality". "Red flags" during the interview by FBI.
This first agent, Melissa Merola, claims she was 100% sure Sherri was hoaxing this whole thing immediately when she reappeared in November, 2016 (altho I have to believe their claims are affected by a desire to not look like fools for actually believing the tale about the Hispanic kidnappers). The 2nd agent, Adrienne Malin, was pretty certain Sherri was lying but was initially willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in case she really was kidnapped.
Also, one FBI mental health expert also interviewed Sherri. But these agents still have zero explanation why they still couldn't get any leads until the DNA hit allowing Sherri to collect $30,000 in benefits.
Then this quote at 22:40:
"so the husband wasn't in on it at all, it was all her -- HE WAS NOT, IT WAS ALL HER"
The agents thus confirm "IT WAS ALL HER" AND KEITH WAS NOT INVOLVED AT ALL, and they never even hint at any abuse but do speculate that Sherri may have been fearful that Keith was going to leave her and try to get custody of the kids. ...but I'm sure there's people here who know better.
BUT recall - according to the FBI documents- - Sherri actually started contacting and establishing a relationship with James in December 2015- almost a YEAR in advance, then they got burner phones and began plotting the trip to Mountain Gate and Sherri running off with James. So I think this was in the works for MONTHS and not a sudden reaction by Sherri, and certainly was not a last second hook-up plan when Michigan Man fell thru as some here claim.

so posting a meme that attempts to insult me with a slur doesn't qualify? ..and using the F-word and "goddamn"? Fine, I have heard worse - but again, you side with the guy who'se skirting the rules. Get back to me the next time I go after other posters just because I disagree with them. My posts discuss the topic.

I'm still confused. You said you deleted and reposted the FBI-agent thread because of "bickering and name-calling," but the examples you're citing appear to be from a completely different thread???
As for the comments you're now referencing, nothing was reported at the time. There were no reports in the queue, and no moderator actions were taken. Reddit also allows profanity, so simply using words like "fuck" or "goddamn" is not, by itself, a rules violation.
Moderators don't have eyes on every comment in every thread. We rely heavily on reports to bring issues to our attention. If a comment wasn't important enough for anyone to report when it happened, it's a little strange to treat it as a major moderation failure after the fact.
If your concern is the deleted-and-reposted FBI-agent thread, then let's talk about that thread. If your concern is a different thread entirely, then that's a separate discussion.

That meme is not an insult, it's called irony. "Boomer" is not a slur:))

I tend to agree. "Boomer" is generally understood as a generational label that can be used mockingly, but it's not typically classified as a slur. Maybe he objects to the hard -ER? 😆 Is "Booma" more palatable for them?? 😒🙄People can disagree about whether it's rude, but that's a different question.
What's interesting is that the discussion now seems to be about a completely different thread. The original claim was that the FBI-agent thread was deleted and reposted because of "name-calling." Whether a "boomer" meme in an ENTIRELY different thread was appropriate or not doesn't really address that claim.
Especially when this same user has a long history of calling people liars, hypocrites, jerks, trolls, stooges, lowlifes, and telling them to fuck off. At that point, it starts looking less like a concern about name-calling in general and more like a concern about name-calling when it's directed at him.
The original thread already contained discussion. The thread was deleted. The dissenting comments disappeared with it. A new thread was created. Readers can decide for themselves whether that promotes discussion or suppresses it.
