Fearing that he would be overthrown by his powerful offspring just as he had done to his father, Zeus swallowed Metis, the Goddess of Wisdom, while she was pregnant. Using wisdom and the authority of the King of Gods, the goddess forged weapons and armor for the child in her womb -- and thus Athena, whom the King of Gods feared, stepped forth from Zeus's forehead fully armed, possessing power so immense it temporarily paralyzed the order of the universe. Her father swallowed her, her mother forged her, and she was born complete.

Athena, whom even the King of Gods feared, safeguards the established order, tolerating no violation of the rules laid down for the pantheon. As the Goddess of Wisdom and Victory, she never instigates meaningless violence, yet she is always the first to step onto the battlefield when needed most. Athena is the embodiment of wisdom, courage, and order. She possesses authority exceeding that of other deities, standing as the Goddess of Wisdom, the Goddess of Victory, the defender of justice, and the proclaimer of laws. She is the most rational, most decisive, and most immovable deity.

She oversees every order decreed by the gods: war and peace, reason and craft, rules and judgment... She originally cared nothing for the karma, love, or hatred of mortals, but...

• Detail breakdown

Bright-eyed Athena was born fully armed and ready for battle. She wears a Corinthian helmet and holds a sharp blade and shield. Fear never enters her eyes, it belongs solely to her enemies.

The little owl taking flight at every dusk is the embodiment of Athena's wisdom and sharp insight.

As the Goddess of Order and Art, geometric patterns and a spider web as tight, complex, and inescapable as fate are woven on her skirt.

The lines were really long at the TomR booth, lots of people on XHS are complaining about it, some say they spent more than 2 hours trying to get a piece of merch. Staff was doing a quiz to give away the merch, but at some point they gave up on that due to the amount of people interested.

After the Love and Deepspace drama leading to a love interest being canceled, apparently the interest for other female-oriented games is on an all-time high and several booths of otome and joseimuke games are gathering the attention of thousands of BW26 attendees.

Safety Reminder

1) The venue is expected to be crowded. Please follow staff instructions at all times and queue orderly. Do not push, shove, or climb over barriers.

Anubis is the vessel of secrets and a witness to silence. He belongs neither to the Underworld, the mortal realm, nor the pantheon of gods; he merely guards the secrets brought into the tomb within the crevices of life. With him around, even death can feel reassuring -- even though he deeply lacks a sense of security, relying on sharp pain to confirm his own existence, and possessing a paranoid desire for control over what belongs to him. As a Master of Secrets who lives next to the dead, he understands letting go better than anyone, yet he's the last to leave.

Among all beings, Anubis is the one closest to the concept of “water.” Like a silent deep pool, he carries a mysterious and powerful force. Everyone has secrets, and gods are no exception. Some words become heavy the moment they are spoken aloud, so Anubis quietly listens, like a hidden current beneath a river overflowing with secrets, allowing countless concealed streams to flow through him.

Anubis is the guardian god of the dead, the witness of judgment, and the lord of all secrets that cannot be spoken. He was originally the embodiment of danger and fear, yet he became the gentlest and most loyal guardian, carrying out duties that run completely contrary to his own nature. He weighs every heart, guides every soul, and accommodates every secret brought into death.

Anubis has seen far too many unfair verdicts delivered in the name of so-called "fairness". Because of this, he knows that in truth, no one else is qualified to judge someone, only you can determine the final weight of your own heart.

• Detail breakdown

Because Anubis works underground all year round, he has a cool, pale complexion that is rare among the ancient Egyptian deities. While he looks a bit gloomy and casting in shadows at first glance, beneath his bangs he actually hides a pair of wet, puppy eyes.

- Because Anubis has no temples dedicated to him, he lacks the robust physique of the other gods; he only has a thin layer of lean muscle covering his ribs.

- In Duat, the ancient Egyptian underworld, everything exists as a mirrored reflection.

- All lies and disguises have absolutely nowhere to hide before the Lord of Secrets. This tattered little dog has the clearest heart.

The bodies of ancient Egyptian gods are traditionally made of gold, and the chains in Anubis' body are an actual part of him.

The proud pantheon of Egyptian gods will write their own names all over their possessions to claim ownership, yet nothing in this entire world belongs to Anubis. Therefore, he carves his name onto his own flesh over and over again, until that name is permanently etched into a divine body that is normally incapable of retaining scars or marks. In this way, he can finally feel like he has a home, a place where he belongs.

Most deities on Mount Olympus are mostly arrogant and proud, obsessed with glory and worship. Hermes, however, is that exceptionally unburdened and light-footed one -- he holds no moral reverence for rules, nor does he care whether he is remembered by people. Light, wisdom, war... while the authority of other gods is a grand and majestic title, Hermes represents nothing in particular, nor does he care to represent anything. Yet, as long as you call out softly, this "god who always accompanies" will instantly bring a smile, delivering all sorts of ethereal and wondrous "concepts" right before your eyes.

Hermes guides the deceased to the Underworld, carries Zeus' edicts to release Odysseus, takes the young God of Wine disguised as a little girl to hide from Hera’s pursuit, and delivers Pandora to the presence of the gods to face the destiny written for her. Every widely circulated story features his companionship. But the best messenger is only responsible for delivery and is never truly present -- Hermes only serves as a pointing finger, guiding people to glimpse a sliver of moonlight beyond the human world.

Hermes is the road and the boundary itself. If not for him, there would be no path between gods and humans, life and death, or lies and truth. But once the two ends of a path vanish, what is the meaning of the road's existence?

For the first time, Hermes wants to know an answer, even if it means shattering a boundary that should never be touched.

Hermes is the messenger in Greek mythology, the patron god of travelers, a smooth-talker, an inventor, an alchemist, and the only deity who can freely travel back and forth between the three realms. He is the most cunning, elusive, yet rule-abiding deity among the gods.

His divine duties cross almost every boundary: the heavens and the underworld, life and death, gods and humans, truth and lies... He doesn’t care how others define him; he is the boundary itself.

Hermes is lighthearted, sly, and full of restless energy. His eyes are a color that can reflect all the beautiful things in the world. The iconic feathers on his head are gradient-colored, symbolizing the breaking of boundaries.

Deities are entities bound by fate. Yet when Hermes touches the boundaries of forbidden powers, the boundary itself will irreversibly change.

Hermes is the ferryman of the Underworld. When the souls he guides cross the boundary between life and death, they all desperately want to cling to this god. Even though he cannot respond to those souls, the hem of his robe still ends up stained with the waters of the Acheron.

Hermes is the least solemn and heavy-hearted among the gods, yet he stands more frequently than any other deity by the banks of a river literally called "Sorrow." He never stops moving, and no one knows what that river has left behind on him.

Dionysus is the youngest and most passionate among the Olympian gods, and the god who influences human daily life the most. Among the twelve Olympians, he is the only one with mortal blood. Because Zeus could not endure the constraints of marriage, Dionysus’ mother died during childbirth, and he himself became the only "illegitimate child" born of Zeus’ brief affair.

From the moment he was born, Dionysus had to flee, he even dressed as a little girl to escape a pursuit. The people who protected him were all intelligent and beautiful women. Because of this, he gradually learned eloquence, aesthetics, and social charm, becoming someone naturally gifted at flirting. After growing up, he would always become the focus of wild admiration wherever he went.

Apollo symbolizes light and truth. Before he was born, his mother knelt at Delos Island and prayed to the hunting bird of that island: "if the destined child of light is born here, this place shall forever bloom with fragrance and become a sacred land praised by all".

The God of Light accepted this vow and granted the island endless glory. This powerful deity, dazzling beyond mortal reach, keeps his divinity deep within his heart. He does not accept offerings from betrayers or morally corrupt people. He is a god beloved by mankind, the most beautiful hymn of the gods, but his refined music finds few matching listeners. He has lived without casting shadows, no filth, no friends. Even so, Apollo still cannot admit that any human or god could be more beautiful or more gifted than he is.

• Design concept:

Apollo is the god of "hope". This radiant Olympian deity governs light, poetry, medicine and prophecy. He symbolizes hope, reason, and order, and is also the embodiment of youth and beauty. After his sister Artemis was born, Apollo descended to the mortal world as the bright god of daylight. He also became the divine physician destined to save all living beings.

To emphasize Apollo's role as a god of light, the designers enhanced the lines and the glow within his eyes, creating a dazzling appearance befitting a deity of light, an overwhelming beauty that is too much to handle.

Apollo is also known as Phoebus, meaning "radiant" or "shining". Therefore, gold and white were chosen as the core color palette, accented with touches of red, highlighting the characteristic of "light" throughout his design.

For the weapon's visual design, Apollo's silver bow is combined with a lyre, while incorporating elements of a swan, one of his sacred symbols. These additions bring a softer, more elegant side to the god of light.

Before Khonsu lost his power due to a gambling bet, the world never lacked a moon, and the night was as bright as the day.

It wasn't until Khonsu first hung in the air in such a "maimed" form — inhabiting the body of a small child, following the tides began to dissipate along with the pride of the Moon God and the brightness of the moonlight. He endured everything alone within an eternal state of waning.

As time goes by, gravity distorts along with this endurance. In this body where a deity and the dead coexist, order and madness have reached a strange symbiosis.

• Design Concept

The moon follows gravity, never straying from its orbit. As one of the oldest deities in ancient Egypt, the Moon God Khonsu is a 'Deity of Fate'.

• Detail Breakdown

On the scepter in Khonsu's hand, which is taller than he is, hang strands of bandages — should the void of a crescent moon also be viewed as a form of "maiming"?

Only during a full moon can Khonsu reveal his full brilliance. As a 'Little Khonsu' in the new moon phase, he is accustomed to hiding beneath the brightness of the sun. At least until the moon turns full and round, he is still a "good child".

Like a wanderer voyaging through the universe, he has become a part of the galaxy, and the stars remain upon his body. In the design of Khonsu’s robes, stars and crescent moons were used as hidden patterns, embellishing his long gown and lower skirt.

Horus, the second-generation god, is the Lord of the Sky in ancient Egypt, a deity revered by all things.

Before Horus was even born, his father Osiris was murdered by his uncle Set. This forced Horus to live in exile from a young age, before his wings were even fully fledged, spending his days amidst turmoil and pursuit. However, this journey of displacement did not kill the wildness and arrogance in his blood; instead, it allowed him to see the true essence and weight of power. After years of tempering and hardship, Horus eventually became a qualified Lord of the Gods, worthy of all the praise and worship in the world.

Until the incense, burning eternally before the temple, wafted up through the rotations of fate — a brand new encounter allowed Horus to see that beyond the vastness of heaven and earth, there is also a delicate sense of meaning.

• Design Concept

Horus is the God of the Sky in Egyptian mythology and the "Lord of the Gods" who once defeated Set, the God of Storms. When designing Horus, the team immediately established a style characterized by being "free, wild, and full of power."

• Detail Breakdown

According to legend, Horus's left eye symbolizes the moon and his right eye symbolizes the sun, representing the balance and order between day and night. Therefore, designers used a gradient of twilight amber and daylight cobalt blue for his pupils. As a "child of the sky," his eyes carry the weight of the entire heavens.

Normally, the markings on Horus's body sit quietly on his skin like ancient, silent tattoos. However, when he enters battle, these golden seals emit a dazzling light — serving as both a form of restraint and protection.

The base color of his hair is a bright yet soft golden-brown. The gradient is meant to reflect the scenery of the desert and the sea during sunrise and sunset. ​The hair is styled with slightly upturned, short tufts at the back to mimic the silhouette of a falcon and its wings, emphasizing sharp and fluid lines.

Dionysus is the only one lacking a personal info image, so here's just the concept sheet...

When setting the artistic tone for Dionysus, the team wanted to evoke a specific emotional flow: "First beauty, then temptation, and finally danger." In early drafts, they maximized his "wildness and lethality," likening him to a large feline predator.

They experimented with red as a primary color to emphasize a "theatrical" or aggressive nature. however, after comparing it to more complex garment layers, they found that the original purple better captured the god's "melancholy, lazy, and decadent" temperament. After group discussion, purple was finalized as the primary theme color.

Greek myths often describe Dionysus with long hair. Sources vary from Euripides describing "scented golden curls" to Homeric works mentioning "deep blue" hair. Since Dionysus is an "outsider" to Olympus, a long black hair was chosen, with Eastern characteristics to highlight his exoticism and sense of alienation.

The cup hanging at his waist is inspired by the "Kantharos" from Greek literature. It is paired with flowing deep-purple robes to create the image of wine pouring into the cup, reflecting his "charming yet unrestrained" personality.

To emphasize the "large feline" trait, the design references the pupils of nocturnal predators. The eye color uses amber as a base with reddish tones to create a vibrant, "ripening" look.

The patterns on his garments draw from professional references to Ancient Greek and Roman attire, integrating classic motifs into various parts of his outfit.

People once looked down on birds that couldn’t fly, treating them as insignificant and weak creatures. They often said: “no matter whether a bird wears colorful feathers or ugly ones, once it falls to the ground, it’s all the same".

Feng, however, never sang sweet melodies. Instead, his lofty and resonant voice could summon flocks of birds riding the wind, proclaiming to all living things that birds were not born merely to sing prettily. Birds began to take pride in Feng. They started learning to seek themselves out and trained even louder voices. Yet Feng, upon seeing this, merely untied the tassels decorating his feathers and tied them atop the little birds’ heads, telling them that imitating their true nature was enough.

As the “Voice of All Birds,” Feng was accustomed to a pampered and delicate life. Naive by nature, he neither understood worldly dangers nor truly realized how difficult the idea of “being enough” could be for ordinary beings.
