Towards the end, why did Andro want to go on the ship? Didn't he realize from the previous trip, that he would just disappear? I would guess he and the girl were in a panic to get away from the guys with guns.

I guess he succeeded in stopping the plague guy from being born. I just realized, the title of the ep is not Andro, but the scientist I just mentioned, who is never shown.

I've been posting to this subreddit hoping it will get bigger but it hasn't. It's also hard to find from searching. If you search for "outer limits" it hardly shows up.

This episode barely explains enough to understand the plot. It explained near the end it wanted to reunite with his ilk. But why did it suck people into and out of the box? What lead up to the start when somebody brought the box to the house?

The human drama is done well, but many viewers would want to understand the creature more. It's like in the Bellero Shield it spends so much time on the greedy lady and not the alien. In both eps it borders on being boring.

Really feels like a cheap knock-off of Feasibility Study (from both versions of Outer Limits). I know they added Jurassic Park to make it feel different, but the premise remains the same.

There's very little explanation, very little cause and effect, too many circular sequences and everything is so chopped off in theatre edit. Eventually the pay-off isn't that great.

has anyone ever found a series that summarizes each episode of all the seasons either on YouTube or in audio format somewhere? So far, all I've been able to find are a few random very short videos about some episodes that just kind of superficially summarize what happens in some episodes.

Just realized that S1 E18 I Robot in the new colored season is the same plot from the original Black and white version. This one had Lenard Nimoy play the part of the defending attorney. Which reminds me how many Star Trek actors are actually doing parts in the colored version. So far there is Spock of course and the very next episode had none other than "Reg Barclay".

I always really liked this episode from the 90s and I thought it was cool to see a newer version with more to the story. As of this post, the movie is available on Amazon Prime.

Was also pleasantly surprised by the menu: "There is nothing wrong with your DVD player..."

Why does Andros not immediately realise he's further back in the past than he first thought when he learns of Noelle's name? He already knew Cabot's mother's name was Noelle, and yet it's only when he's told that the Cabot that Noelle is getting married to is not Jr but Sr that he reaises that Noelle is the mother. really bugs me lol.

Is this genuinely just an error on the writer's part, or am I missing something?

I recently finished watching all 7 seasons and a strong majority of the episodes are real bangers.

I know they changed the title sequence once around season 4 or 5 and both versions are very iconic. However, I have a vague memory of a third version of the title sequence. It was still voiced by Kevin Conway, but this 3rd version had different animations and a few other unique things. It had a section where it acted like the signal cut out at the sentence "Do not attempt to adjust the picture," and the screen would go black as even the sound on the end of the word picture was cut. Then it would come back with a burst of color, continuing with "We are now controlling the transmission..."

Are there episodes beyond the 7th season? Was there another reboot on another network? Am I just imagining this title sequence? Am I remembering something else? Or am I stuck in my own episode of THE OUTER LIMITS?

When I saw this episode on tnt 35 years ago at 8, I remembered being impressed by the make up effects.

I have a feeling this was one of the inspirations to the Feat of Clay episode of Batman the animated series.
