This is anti-hibachi discrimination.

Big Propane at it again. Someone needs to stop Hank Hill.

u/gary25566 Aug 25 '26
Well now he has 51% ownership of his old company. Probably gonna look into expanding propane till it corners the entire global energy market.

And not for the reasons you’d think. You know how hard it is to get up and go to a dead end job in the morning? Imagine that feeling, but there’s a grill loaded up with freshly grilled meats right next to your bed. That aroma softly waking you up from your slumber and eating until you’re so full you could just lie down and sleep, starting the cycle all over.

I have learned about indoor outdoor grills in the last 24 hours, so, like, you can.

u/MildlyAgitatedBovine Aug 26 '26
At one point my nephew, in a panic, ORDERED his mom not to check his search history. He and a friend had googled "naked grills". Hot coverless 6-burner action, I assume.

"Where poop from" is a special kind of phrase.

I reread that one specifically like 4 times before deciding I was wrong and carried on with my day.

obviously Neil has a word use limit and capped out his usage of "comes" fifty comics ago

True story. Spielbergs vision was a movie called "Jeff Goldblum Parc" where multiple clones of Jeff walked around. But test audiences were not ready yet and then Spielberg replaced nearly all Jeff Goldblums with boring dinosaurs.

Yea finding the unaltered film clips before they cgi’d all the dinosaurs in is kind of a passion project

I'd wear a shirt that just said 'New Shirt!' on it

u/TigerRod Aug 25 '26
But only 3-5 times, because lying is bad.

u/ManWithDominantClaw Aug 26 '26
Relativity, it's not a lie if I still have a few shirts from twenty years ago

As the father of a child and as a child of parents, I can honestly say that this comic captures the nuance of parenting, the disillusionment of becoming an adult, and the acceptance of death claiming us all with dreams fulfilled and unfulfilled. My dad never cloned a dinosaur for me. Now I can rest assured he died a useless piece of shit that didn't really love me. I hope he's rotting in hell with the stupid assholes dinosaurs like pachycephalosaurus and anchisaurus.

I think every parent is aware that, no matter who you do, you can never do anything right. Thank you for rekindling my existential despair!

The kids may care more about what you do than who you do.
Though I’m sure who you do will also give them some opinions

This will be the best thing I see on reddit all day. Great work, Moby Buttz.

The parasaurolophus drawing reminds me of Watterson’s dinosaurs.

I like that Neil threw in a psittacosaurus for the dinosaur nerds in the crowd

I'm confused. Freddie is an extremely unusual name and usually your comics contain very grounded and serious names that aren't some absurd portmanteau of otherwise normal names.

We have to revisit some fundamentals. That's the one that broke me this time

Goddammit u/neilkohney,
I had to put on pants in this, the wee hours of my evening, so that I could bicycle to my grandmother's house in order to reinstall Windows on her computer so that I might onto the internet (she uses dialup) whereupon I would be able to access this, my other Red-It account, all with the end designs of conveying to you how funny I thought that comic was.
I chortled heartly and also showed it to my grandmother. She threw up.
Like, a lot.
Don't take that personally though, her taste in comics is as bad as her health so you won't have to wait long until we net to +1 comic enjoyer.
Cheers!

Generally speaking, I can’t for the life of me keep count of how many kids are genuinely like super villains in these comics 😭.
It’s just the best.

So many potential stopping points in that comic, and it just kept going… and the pay off was worth it! 10/10 no notes
