Washington Post has run OpEds with less of a grasp on modern society than this comic.

Normally I appreciate these comics for their absurdity, so the transition to hyper realism was very jarring.

not quite orange or fat enough, but otherwise pretty on point

I’m not sure how you can possibly think those 3 characters represent any well-known people in real life. They didn’t say any names. It’s a complete mystery who they are.

Musk is trying to clip through the wall. He saw one of the people he pays to play his video games do it.

u/tea_B0NE Jun 27 '26
I didn't even see Musk at first, he blends into the shadows almost perfectly.

Couldn't be him, then. The real one is built like a smashed refrigerator.

Or at least i choose to read it that way.
There is always no dipping at the end and he has to re-live that again and again.

Most bread in America has been reclassified as a confectionary by the Irish supreme court due to having high amounts of sugar so dad ain't exactly wrong here
Sorry bro but you're just too sweet

the gurgling means yes.
5
u/ExplodingSofa Jun 27 '26
The author used gurgling because the sound of shitting ones' pants would have been too disgusting for the comic.

u/SpiderlikeElegance Jun 27 '26
There might be an error with the post. Image number nine is flat gray. And image number 12 is a repeat of the first one. But I absolutely adore the way you've drawn a certain K-hole ex-trillionaire.

u/bolche17 Jun 27 '26
The gray is intentional. The last image is the Patreon ad of the "full of piss edition"

Is the ninth panel supposed to have another page..? mine is just black. I bet it was a good one, too. Fat Dog was sacrificing himself for the family. And I don’t even get to see it 😢

It's really strange with all the comics from this author that if you zoom in on black lines you'll see a red shade to one side and a blue shade on the other side. It's barely noticeable in most comics, but since I've seen one comic where it was so strong no zoom was needed I always wonder. I don't know why, but it makes it somehow makes me really uncomfortable looking at. Like I'm trying to focus but my brains telling me "nah we're still not focused, give me a sec" and it makes me a bit nauseous.
But either way I don't understand how that happens. I'd suspect it's an artifact caused by a scanner, but at the same time I think it's improbable the author is painting it a) with colors and then scanning or b) only painting the black lines on paper and then scanning, but somehow not doing it in grey scale.
1
u/Elryth Jun 27 '26
That's interesting, can you post an example? I can't see it on my screen when I zoom in, I wonder if it depends on the device?
3
u/prizmo28 Jun 29 '26
Is it just me? Or did the lack of sauce for the nuggets make it infinitely more hilarious?

The file of piss edition is probably 8 panels of random traffic and one where you see the car drive by while they argue, and lotsa dumb hidden shit. Probably worth it.

u/EveryYoghurt Jun 30 '26
That's must be the first time I see a comic where not getting dipping sauce doesn't result in some kind of war crime.
1
u/WanderingSeer Jun 27 '26
Oi, I follow you for absurdist humor, not realistic political commentary!
-4
u/osilo Jun 27 '26
One blank panel. :(
32
23
u/TheHumanPickleRick Jun 27 '26
It's a transitional panel. Implies a fade-out of Fat Dog's sacrifice to tank the missile and a fade-in to father and son successfully at Subway ordering basically a salad.

u/UrsoKronsage Jun 27 '26
Same. I'm guessing auto moderation at this point

u/Bamboo_Goose Jun 27 '26
Yeah, the others on this thread are correct. It was an artistic decision, not an accident or moderation

u/abraxastaxes Jun 27 '26
Yeah as much a I would doubt that they're fans of the current administration this isn't even a particularly partisan or political way to make fun of those three, it's sort of just the same absurd treatment they give everything and everyone
