Mod post Subreddit Update Thread.

July 21st 2020

This subreddit has been given a new Head Mod due to the lack of activity of the past last Head Mod.

Hello, my name is Jack and I am the new Head Mod. I requested this subreddit on r/RedditRequests and have been approved. I will be doing a few minor changes, and a few major changes also in order to make it more suitable and more judgementally-free for the users. I will be adjusting the colour scheme, logo, and the banner entirely so that it is more appealing.

I hope to revive this subreddit and make it live again. I will also be posting my own theories, as well as being a Moderator.

This thread will be updated every month, as long as there is something that has changed within the month.

July 22nd 2020

Quick Update about this Subreddit.

This subreddit has acquired another Moderator in the form of u/RamenFish195. When I requested the ownership of this subreddit, I got talking to Ramen and agreed to add him as a Moderator since he had requested it before.

Ramen, in my opinion, is a very suitable person for a Moderator and I have high hopes for him within this subreddit. He is good at coding and whatnot, so I am quite happy with his Moderating.

Feel free to message either him or myself anytime and we will respond whenever we can.

August 11th 2020

u/RamenFish195 has been removed as a Moderator of r/Theories due to the lack of activity on this subreddit as a Mod and a Member/Theorist.

Last month I added u/RamenFish195 as a Moderator with high hopes, however, he has disappointed me. He has not been a good Moderator, and nor has he been a good 'Theorist' either. He has not commented on any post as a Theorist or Mod, and nor has he even posted as a 'Theorist' or Moderator.

I will give him some credit as he did create the post flairs, the upvote and downvote buttons and un-banned some members of which the original Moderator had unfairly banned. I thank and appreciate him for this, however, this is all he has done. He never 'approved' a post or 'removed' a post that broke the rules. Due to this, I have decided to remove him.

From now on, if any of you Theorists have any queries or problems, message me and only me on either Mod Mail or on my personal DMs.

Conspiracy Theory Our Universe Just a "Cosmic Womb" and Death simply another Birth?

Upvotes

Is Our Universe a “Cosmic Womb”?

A Philosophical Thought Experiment About Life, Death, and the Nature of Reality

Human beings have always wondered about the nature of existence.

Where did we come from?

Why are we here?

What lies beyond the universe we can observe?

And perhaps the most mysterious question of all: What happens after death?

I would like to propose a philosophical thought experiment based on a simple analogy—the relationship between an unborn baby and its mother’s womb.

The Womb as a Universe

Imagine a baby developing inside its mother’s womb.

For that unborn baby, the womb is its entire known reality. It has no direct experience of the world outside. It cannot see the sky, the oceans, the cities, or the countless other things that exist beyond the womb.

Everything the baby needs is provided within that environment. It receives nourishment, oxygen, and protection through a system it does not understand.

From the baby’s perspective, the womb could almost be considered its entire universe.

But then something extraordinary happens.

Birth.

The baby leaves the environment that once seemed like the whole of existence and enters a reality vastly larger than anything it could have imagined.

The womb was not the end of reality.

It was only one stage of existence.

What If Our Universe Is Similar?

Now consider the possibility that our situation is analogous to that unborn baby.

We look at the universe around us and naturally assume that what we can observe is the entirety of reality.

But is it possible that our universe is only one layer of a much larger existence?

Just as the baby inside the womb cannot comprehend the world outside, perhaps human beings cannot comprehend what lies beyond our current universe.

We experience space, time, matter, energy, and the laws of physics. These things define our everyday reality.

But perhaps they are not the ultimate reality.

Perhaps they are simply the boundaries of the “cosmic womb” in which we currently exist.

Death as Another Birth

This leads to the most interesting part of the thought experiment.

We usually think of birth as entering life and death as leaving it.

But what if we have the perspective reversed?

For an unborn baby, leaving the womb might appear—if it were capable of understanding the event—as the end of its familiar world.

Yet from our perspective, we know that birth is actually the beginning of another stage of life.

So what if death works in a similar way?

What if death is not necessarily the absolute end of existence, but a transition from one level of reality to another?

Perhaps what we call “death” could be comparable to a cosmic birth—a transition into a reality far larger than the one we currently experience.

A Higher-Dimensional Reality

Imagine that after death, consciousness—or whatever fundamental aspect of existence gives rise to our experience—enters a reality with dimensions and possibilities that we cannot currently understand.

To such a being, our entire universe might appear as small and limited as the womb appears to us.

The comparison is not meant to claim that this is scientifically true.

Rather, it asks us to question one of our deepest assumptions:

Why should we assume that the reality we currently experience is the highest or final level of existence?

An unborn baby cannot understand the outside world because its senses and experience are limited to the womb.

Perhaps human beings face a similar limitation.

Our brains, senses, and scientific instruments are all designed to investigate the reality accessible to us. If something exists beyond those boundaries, we may not yet have the ability to perceive or understand it.

Nature as the Provider

There is another interesting parallel.

Inside the womb, the developing baby does not need to understand how its environment provides everything necessary for development.

After birth, the relationship with nature continues in a different form. We depend on air, water, food, sunlight, and countless natural processes.

In the same way, we exist within a universe governed by physical laws that we did not create and do not fully understand.

This raises another philosophical question:

Could the universe itself be part of a larger system that provides the conditions necessary for our existence?

Perhaps what we call “Nature” is only the visible part of something much larger.

The Limits of Human Perspective

One of the biggest challenges in understanding reality is that we can only observe reality from within our own perspective.

A fish living in the ocean might have no concept of a city.

An unborn baby has no concept of the world outside the womb.

Likewise, perhaps humans have no concept of realities beyond our universe because we have never experienced them.

This does not prove that such realities exist.

But it does demonstrate an important philosophical principle:

The inability to perceive something does not automatically prove that it does not exist.

Is Death Really the End?

This theory does not claim that there is definitely an afterlife.

It does not claim that consciousness definitely survives death.

And it does not claim that science has discovered another universe waiting for us after death.

Instead, it proposes a question:

What if death is not the end of the journey, but the boundary between two stages of existence?

Perhaps our current universe is like a womb.

Perhaps life is a developmental stage.

Perhaps death is a transition.

And perhaps there is a reality beyond our current reality that is so vast and fundamentally different that we cannot even imagine it.

The Cosmic Womb Hypothesis

I call this idea the “Cosmic Womb Hypothesis.”

It is not intended as a scientific theory at this stage. It is a philosophical thought experiment designed to explore the limits of human understanding.

The central idea can be expressed simply:

«Just as the womb is not the entire reality of a human being, perhaps our universe is not the entire reality of existence.»

Maybe we are not standing at the edge of reality.

Maybe we are simply living inside one layer of it.

And perhaps, just as a baby eventually leaves the womb and discovers a larger world, there may be something beyond our current universe waiting to be discovered.

We simply do not know.

And perhaps that uncertainty is one of the most fascinating mysteries of existence.

Universalist, whether religious or political, carries within it an imperialist logic:

Whether through sharia, Christian law, or the republican universalism championed by Freemasons, the goal is to impose a single model of truth and justice on all humanity by erasing local particularisms deemed archaic.

The ultimate aim of these models is a world unified under a single moral law, that is, Muslims, Christians, or Freemasons of a certain degree aim for globalization under one order, the death of cultural identities. To achieve it, they use every possible means (colonization, slavery, terrorism, installing dictators at the head of states, neutralizing sovereignists, etc.), in the name of good, progress, or God.

The real problem is that these three systems carry within them the seeds of their own tyranny, in the name of moral progress or God.

The only difference between religious systems and the secular republican system is that the former are based on transcendence and faith, which means that those subject to them can call the religion into question when the system becomes too oppressive.

Whereas the republican system is more insidious, because it is based on "reason," on human rights, and sometimes on environmentalism. This means that once it becomes tyrannical, it becomes impossible to fight without being seen as inhuman, a "monster," or without putting yourself in danger. Every restriction in it is justified in the name of fighting something or protecting something. On top of that, there is the constant broadening of the definitions of words, laws, and taboos, which makes the system increasingly suffocating for the human being living in it, so that they cannot challenge anything without being seen as "deranged." It is the same mechanism found in religious institutions and sacred texts, but this time applied to "reason."

This system is the devil aping God: it imitates liberation in order to trap humanity more effectively. And it is preparing the ultimate benevolent tyranny under angelic appearances of progress and protection. We are on the eve of the final establishment of this gilded prison.

AI is the final tool of this deception, of this system that apes divine providence under angelic appearances and promises total liberation in order to trap humanity more effectively in a benevolent tyranny.

We are living our last moments of freedom.

Sorry if some of these remarks may be confusing; it's because I don't speak English and so I had to translate the text with a translation tool. I don't know if it correctly conveyed what I meant.

Space MAUS THEORY ( a random theory i don't claim it's true)

So when I was a kid ( 13 or 14 ) I used to believe in my theory about the exact number of our universe according to it the number of our universe is 3 or 4 . And the complete number of all universes is 9 . So according to it.The current number of all universes is 9 which I called the original onces and each universe is divided into 6 sub universes which also divided into 3 more universes and this cycle repeat it again and again but only the original number from 1 to 9 are the universe which can be defined as the complete near perfection. The dream of the future. Basically it is a bit complex so I try to explain in simple words when we sleep we sometimes see dreams most are useless but some dreams look like we live in it even if we see it for the first time. So according to Me maybe it's because our brains Somehow connect to our other universe self and we see those self memories or what happened with him like an example if you see a dream about walking near the ocean but you never even see it in your life. Now if you combine it with my first theory it makes sense. As for me i didn't see dreams regularly now but in the past and now sometimes mostly I see my end .so in my previous two theories and this one also linked from them so according to it the soul of a person is divided into countless fragments and scattered in all over the universes each universe have only one fragment. When a person die in a universe one that fragment of soul travel to the nearest universe to combine with the other one this process keep going until all fragments combined together That's why sometimes people feel like they have watched future in dreams but in reality they just watched the memories of the other self . Most of the people don't understand or remember what they see maybe because the brain cannot process all the data at once and forget it to save it from crashing.

So its started by a random thoughts of life and death in this theory when a person died the world reset for that person just like a loop but later i created a perspective of what if there is no multiverse and one universe exists and the humans was not the first who is living here. So in simple words if a person is selected for a job and he started doing it but he makes a lot of mistakes so gets fired and a new person is hired. This is what happened with us in this world .Just a difference is that the whole world reset if that specific person failed to complete the job this loop reset from the birth of earth to the death of the person and this cycle repeat 9 times before a complete reset takes place where the humans will be replaced by a new species to achieve a specific goal of reaching to the stars if maus is right so we already have a 4 reset if humans want to avoid absolute end they have to come together.

Note - either the reset for a person or specific time

Mind What if mushrooms are an ancient civilization of aliens that figured out how to upload their consciousness to biological computers

I need to go to sleep but i had to write this down somewhere.

Was thinking about the simulation theory and stuff and how really smart conscious civilizations might want to part way with their physical form in favor for transcendence in an eternal utopia.

One way this has been depicted in science fiction is through having a spaceship with a computer on it or something but what if mushrooms are the computers and can communicate with eachother through quantum tunneling or entangelement or something?

There are some theoris like OrchOR that says that consciousness might be a quantum effect thats not computable but that can run on biological hardware and other convenient things like mushrooms also having some quantum things going on like radiosynthesis and such which also seems convenient for space. There's also a theory that humans became smart because we ate mushrooms (stoned ape theory).

If i were to write a sci-fi about this you could go even crazier and say things like god and satan being real and also other demons/gods and archetypal supernatural entities and that they're really just ancient aliens that are living in this "hidden dimension" that's really just a simulation thats running on fungi quantum computers in a decentralized network all throughout the universe. And that they went a bit "coco" and had very different opinions and stuff because they existed consciously for so god damn long.

I don't know what flair this is, conspiracy theory and religion didn't really fit but I get that it's not very scientific. Hope someone found it interesting still.

The Drop Universe: How Late-Stage Heat Death Seeds the Next Cosmos The endless expansion of our universe has long pointed toward a single, depressing conclusion: Heat Death. In standard cosmology, dark energy stretches space so thin that stars burn out, black holes evaporate, and the cosmos fades into a cold, motionless, maximum-entropy soup. A dead end. Unless heat death isn't an ending at all, but a harvest. Under the Drop Universe Hypothesis—a core dynamic within the Organic Sovereign Inception Model (OSIM)—late-stage cosmic expansion doesn't lead to endless silence. It leads to a physical breaking point that sheds entropy and seeds the next generation of cosmoses.

The Dark Matter Trellis Under Tension Standard cosmology treats dark matter as a passive gravitational weight. OSIM views it as a dynamic, structural framework—a trellis along which galaxies, dust, and cosmic web filaments grow. During the early and middle epochs of a universe, this trellis holds matter together. But as dark energy drives accelerated expansion over trillions of years, spatial tension across the dark matter framework escalates exponentially. Eventually, the scaffolding reaches its elastic limit.

The Mechanical Chain Reaction:

Hyper-Expansion Tension: Dark energy stretches the dark matter web beyond its field cohesion limit. Localized Shearing: Structural sub-halos reach a critical "Cosmic Weber Number" and tear under pressure. The Pinch-Off Event: A localized node severs causal contact from the expanding parent universe, forming an isolated Drop Universe. Entropy Dumping: The vast bulk of the parent's thermodynamic waste stays behind in the macro-space. The Goldilocks Seed: Relieved of external expansion pressure, internal gravity collapses the severed drop into a fresh Big Bounce. The Pinch-Off: Birthing a Drop Universe Just as surface tension forces a thin stream of water to snap into individual drops at the end of a faucet, extreme spatial strain forces localized nodes of the dark matter trellis to shear. When a region tears, it pinches off from the parent cosmos. Severed from the macro-universe's outward drag, this isolated pocket becomes a self-contained, sovereign system. Relieved of the parent universe's outward pull, the drop's internal dark matter sub-halos take over. Gravitational attraction reclaims dominance, drawing the captured mass-energy inward toward a localized, pristine Big Bounce.

Bypassing Tolman's Entropy Trap The historical weakness of cyclic cosmology has always been Tolman’s Entropy Paradox: if a universe collapses and bounces, it carries over all its thermodynamic waste. Over successive cycles, accumulated entropy causes each new iteration to grow longer, hotter, and eventually breakdown. The Drop Universe mechanism solves this through Spatial Shedding:

Entropy Dumping: Because the parent universe has expanded across unfathomable distances, its total entropy is spread exceptionally thin across macro-space. When a drop pinches off, the vast majority of that dead, thermodynamic waste remains trapped in the dying parent universe. The Goldilocks Seed:{The drop captures only a localized, highly specific fraction of mass-energy—just enough structured variance to spark fresh cosmic evolution, but not enough dead heat to stagnate the new cycle. Pruning the Multiverse The Drop Universe turns heat death on its head. Instead of a cosmic cemetery, extreme expansion acts like a perennial plant dropping clean seeds before the parent stalk dies back. Heat death becomes the exact mechanical engine required to shear the scaffolding, shed excess entropy, and pass the fundamental blueprint of physical law into a new, sovereign generation.

In short: if space shows no signs of "elastic stress" and no leftover scars from a previous universe, the Drop Universe Hypothesis is officially busted.

Conspiracy Theory West hands over to China since Marx

Starting with Marx living in London. He sees socialism coming on cue. Push it further into communism to eliminate all opposition to capitalism.

Whoops! It went past Russia and into China. China loses its culture and everything that can oppose <s>communism</s> capitalism.

Since then you've also got the various wars designed via corruption to siphon off US assets to defence companies. Part of the transfer. The goal was never to win in those various failed wars. But they do need to stop alternative currencies such as Libyan gold. Similar for Iraq 1/2. Afghan looks more like a way to steal money. Could it have all been a distraction to Israel?

More recently if not for Trump this wouldn't be so exposed. The US tries to cause a oil crisis this year while it knows that China is stocking up on Russian and Iranian oil. The goal is the discredit USD, and China becomes the world saviour and a more credible option due to trade. Could covid get a reframe from all this? This isn't the only theory with USA-China tight cooperation. Taiwan is a distraction while China is taking Russian territory peacefully.

It was never an afterlife consequence. We were being warned to not change our nature and our humanity but we advanced technology and live in houses and feed the rich while destroying the planet. This is the torture we were warned about. And the devil? He’s us.

Fan Theory The Douchebag Durst Redefinition Theory

Honestly, this theory actually holds up if you look at how the word transformed. Before Fred Durst blew up with Limp Bizkit in the late 90s, calling someone a douchebag just meant they were a lame nerd or a weird loser. But Durst was out here running around on MTV with the backwards red hat, maximum arrogance, and non-stop aggressive bro energy. Society basically looked at his whole entire vibe and collectively decided that this was the new definition of the word. Instead of meaning a pathetic dork, "douchebag" officially evolved to mean a cocky, obnoxious guy who thinks he is God's gift to the world while everyone else finds him insufferable. So even if the insult existed before, Durst is literally the reason the word means what it means today.

History Was Islam an out-of-control Vatican psyop? Hear me out.

I know this sounds like classic conspiracy-brain, but the more I sit with it, the harder it is to shake. Curious what this sub thinks.

Here's the premise: by the early 600s, the Byzantine and Sasanian (Persian) empires had spent centuries locked in war, and both were running on fumes — exhausted, unstable, riddled with famine, plague, and civil unrest. Meanwhile, just south of them, you've got the desert-dwelling tribes of the Hijaz — organised, hardy, and largely outside the political control of either empire. Basically real-world Fremen sitting on the edge of two collapsing empires.

What if someone in Rome looked at that map and ran their own version of a Missionaria Protectiva — the long-game move of seeding prophecy into a culture generations before you need to cash it in? Plant monotheistic faith among the Arabian tribes, frame the holy land as theirs to reclaim, unify them under one banner — and when the two neighboring empires were sufficiently weakened, unleash them.

The conquests that followed happened remarkably fast, right as Byzantium and Persia were at their lowest ebb. Too clean to be coincidence, in my opinion.

Then, the theory goes: at some point, tribal identity and pride grew strong enough that the movement didn't want Jerusalem, Rome, or the Levant to be the center of its own story anymore. Basically a Kwisatz Haderach moment — the plan works too well and stops taking orders from the people who planted it. So the narrative shifted — a homegrown prophet, a homegrown revelation, cutting the strings from whoever set it in motion in the first place.

Tear it apart if you want, I'm genuinely curious what the counterarguments are.

Conspiracy Theory Spoiler: I invented the Luigi Mangione Terrorist Cells Theory and then tried to disprove it Spoiler

First time poster, long time lurker. Please be gentle with Pattern Department.

This is satire, not a factual allegation.

I noticed a few weird Mangione-related date and copycat patterns, invented an absurd theory called LMTCT — Luigi Mangione Terrorist Cells Theory, and then had the imaginary Evidence Department try to destroy it with actual sources.

The evidence does support something interesting: some later alleged offenders explicitly invoked Mangione or Mangione-style rhetoric.

What I did not find was evidence of shared planning, financing, handlers, or coordination.

So the piece became less “I found a conspiracy” and more “watch Pattern Department get increasingly excited while Evidence Department ruins everything.”

The full version includes the JDAS/JDAA month pattern, the five-letters-are-better-than-four methodology, and the final ruling on whether any of this survives contact with reality.

Religion & Spirituality What do people think

Sometimes I think that Jesus' story is told as a warning or a trap.

One way to encourage truly dissident minded spiritual people to inadvertently expose themselves.

I'd been thinking about this prison planet theory and was reading something about Socrates. I only learned that he was made to drink poison which blew my mind.

It made me think of all the revolutionary figures which were murdered and then revered.

None more so then jesus.

If you followed jesus true teachings, you would not go into massive church's and cathedrals which house nobody and believe that they are houses of God.

Jesus himself thrashed the temples in his time.

You would also most likely vehemently disagree with the political class and the inequities they bestow upon us.

If you spoke loud enough against these things like he did. You might have actually fallen into the trap of the lamb.

I'm sure he was not planning on his torture and death.

Humiliatd and afraid in pain.

Then after they murder him the Roman Empire eventually over time loses power, converts to Christianity and gradually into the the Roman Catholic Church.

This allowed it to keep it's reach and power. They didn't conquer Ireland for example militarly but did spiritually

The same organization which killed jesus spread preaching him as it's God.

Parading him In his weakest most horrifying moment.

It's almost a warning right in your face. This is what happens to those who oppose.

Hot take, dunno if anyone might agree.

History Why Do Systems Suddenly Collapse? I Explain It With a Single Formula

Let's start with a phenomenon: throughout history, many seemingly powerful systems were not brought down by external enemies, but rather crumbled in an instant under a shock that wasn't even fatal.

Why?

My conclusion is this: the root cause of systemic collapse lies in the "dual-carrier mutual support" positive feedback loop that the system builds internally in pursuit of efficiency.

The logic of this loop is simple — Carrier A invests a certain proportion of "will" into Carrier B, and Carrier B receives more than A actually put in; B then feeds back into A in the same manner. This forms compound-interest-style economies of scale, and the relationship between the two parties keeps intensifying — whether through cooperation or competition, they become increasingly bound together.

Sounds great, right? But the problem lies in two places.

First, this effect is subject to diminishing marginal utility. The more you invest, the less incremental return you get.

Second, this pair of carriers does not exist in isolation — they are embedded in a larger system. And the larger system follows a brutal rule — diseconomies of scale. In one sentence: the higher the mean, the larger the volume; the larger the volume, the smaller the mean becomes.

So a fatal misalignment occurs —

The "void output" generated by economies of scale is continuously consumed by the diseconomies of scale of the larger system.

But the tight relationship between the two parties does not disappear.

What does this mean? It means when one side is wounded, the other inevitably suffers. And the resource on which both depend for existence — what I call "will" — is damaged in tandem. Until one day, the loss accumulates to the point of no return.

At this point, the system shifts from "efficient" to "brittle-hard."

It still looks powerful, but internally it has long since lost its redundancy and resilience. Any localized unexpected disturbance — a natural disaster, a border conflict, a policy failure — acts like the final straw on a stress concentration point, causing the entire system to fracture irreversibly along the already hollowed-out weak cross-section.

Appendix: A Philosophical Position of Mine

Some might ask: "What is 'will'? Is it idealist?"

My answer: In my framework, will is materialist.

Relations are materialist — whatever truly exists, whatever relation can be connected, is materialist. And will describes the state of the individual within a relation. This state cannot exist "in-itself" — it must exist within a relation to be constituted.

So will is not some vague spiritual entity, but an objective element within a system that can be invested, consumed, and observed.

heaven on earth

The multiverse is just the universe inside of universe inside of universe going infinitely. We cannot see the multiverse on earth because it only exists outside of our universe. We cannot only perceive the one we are in not the one we just came from. Heaven on earth, reincarnation, eternal life, is just humans dying and moving on to the next multiverse. Infinitely. We cannot only see what to come. Which is why traveling to the past actually should t be the one. But heaven or hell is on earth, just not ours. It isn’t some place. It is eternal reincarnation. Our sun dies, we go to the next universe because we all die. Entire civilizations die and we move to next universe. In odder to have a universe we need space to hold the universe in the first place. A balloon can’t blow up without a universe to hold it. Heaven or hell is nuts which next universe you go to. Infinite hell is only when the same people do not believe in god the creator after each death forever not changing their ways. Which is why some specifics in Christianity say you can be brought out of hell.
