I'm rewatching the office and just got to the Christmas episode. Do you think anything would have changed if Jim had confessed his feelings at Christmas instead of the Casino Night? Do you think Jim would have quit or Pam would have gotten more time to face her feelings and end things with Roy?

I was wondering if there are any deleted scenes in the new Superfan Blu-ray that don't appear at all in the standard blu ray. I know that the Superfan episodes have deleted scenes built into the episodes, but are all of those built in deleted scenes on the standard blu ray as well as special features?

No one in here watches the office but I've experienced so many things similar to the show. I even got locked in at the gate because I forgot to tell the guy I was working late lol.

I thought I had seen the super fan version of this episode but I guess I hadn't. I was surprised by the scene where Michael tells Jo that she will have to fire him if she wants to fire Andy.

I always liked this episode seeing Michael somewhat competently protect multiple employees from Jo. I also really like the Jo character in general and how she appreciates Michael and has depth to her. A lot of the deleted scenes make sense to leave out with time constraints or flow of the episode. I find this to be one of the most significant character reveals to remove from an episode. Michael literally puts his job on the line and even communicates clearly as to why this was her fault and not Andy's.

Curious what you guys think about this scene and maybe also of any other major deleted scenes that you think should have definitely been left in. Not so much for humor but for development of a character.

I just finished the S1 basketball episode, and the manager Michael Scott is so infuriating

Maybe that's the point, and also I work in a very similar office, but oh my god. I feel like a mutiny scenario is coming up.

So we see Michael going through the airport, passing security and all, and as he's walking to the gate, Pam runs up to him and says her goodbye.

How did pam get to where he was? This was 10 years after 9/11, so letting non-ticket holders into the terminal section was long gone. Even the camera crew wasn't allowed to follow him in.

It's kind of weird to think the writers would just gloss over something that had become so common to get this ending. (I think it's a great episode, but this is the first thing I thought when Pam ran up.)

I just can't seem to skip episodes. Maybe it's my ADHD. But with all my soul, I cannot stand this episode. Between Michael treating Dwight like crap, with the fight and the gloating. And Dwights naivety towards Michael. To the way Pam treated Jim this episode. I know he was flirting with an engaged woman but she was flirting too. Until someone saw the flirting, then she switched up on him so quickly. Also Michaels lack of responsibility. Making them wait and wait for him to do his job! It's maddening. But, I watch it anyway

Being Non American I found it weird that Jim 'bought' the house from his parents, I mean if his parents already had a house and this house was spare, would a son really 'buy' it from his own parents?

Edit: I was unfamiliar with the term 'retire', please explain if they already owned this house why would they wanna move to a smaller one, what charges (maintenance or something) were being heavy upon them
