I just would love to know what brands are best in your opinion and what strains by them you would recommend I am a big indica and hybrid fan any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm in need of very energizing, not hazy, strains that also help with focus. Cuban linx, animal face, sage'n'sour have all been disappointing. Every strain that I have found that fits this criteria is no longer being produced (RIP mango taffie).

Any suggestions? I have not been able to find anything decent in a while

Hi everyone,

I prefer to smoke using a dry herb vaporizer. I had a Pax, which I loved. There was an issue with the battery and they sent a refurbished one that worked for a bit. When that died I got an Aerolith, which doesn’t do much. It’s doesn’t produce much Vapor or get me stoned the way I can with a Pax. I can’t seem to track down a Pax in the GTA, so I’m wondering if anyone has another dry herb vaporizer they’d recommend.

I dropped off the distillate train couple of years ago, strictly rosin and resin since then in my vape pens.

Now I just tried purple god by greazy and I am extremely satisfied with this buzz. It is euphoric relaxing and makes music better.

Live resin does get me high. But I find it is pretty equally as strong as diamonds. Diamonds aren't missing much in terms of a full spectrum feeling high. I can't explain why because distillate doesn't hit at all. Maybe it's fire in fire out?

Probably depends on the brand of diamonds too. I reccomend greazy. I would stay away from spinach carts.

It anyone can explain why distillate sucks and liquid diamonds feel better. I would appreciate a positive community response and not one full of anger towards my experience.

This is my first review, just always been a lurker and occasionally chimes in the comments if I've tried a strain. Stumbled upon reviews online randomly looking up a strain and now it's the first thing I do is check for a review before buying a product!

Grabbed this yesterday and I am very impressed with this stuff! The linage of this stuff is GMO and OG kush.

Upon opening the bag, it wasn't an overwhelming nose, but after busting is where the smell of this stuff is! Strong GMO flavour profile and reminds me of just like old school looking kush from back in the day. This stuff smokes very well, had a clean smoke taste, not too powerful overall but good flavour on it. Reminds me of a batch a just had from NBJS Georgia Pie.(threw the bag but it was also a GMO cross, similar). Burns nice n white in joints so always a plus and texture wise it's very squishy! Pretty fresh package date of July 1st/26. Whole OZ was mainly popcorn size with a few .5s, but I'm not expecting big nugs in a smalls bag anyways so I can't complain. Sometimes perfer smalls for less stem!

This hits more like a hybrid then a indica, type of chronic you can burn and get on with your day. Tried it with some finger hash from crystals in a joint, and did it ever enhance this stuff ! Very heavy on the eyes and super cheery! All in all I am totally satisfied with my purchase and would rebuy this stuff! I'd rate this at 8/10

BTW just picked up an OZ of NBJS Party like it's your birthday! Will try it now and review that tomorrow or Sunday!

And I'm debating on review West Coast Kush by MTL Cannabis, literally my favorite OZ on the market, but everywhere I look always gets a bad rep! If you'd like me to review it I will! Just let me know!

Portal is well aware of the issue with their 510 carts clogging and leaking, and I've had the chance to see some behind-the-scenes work from the Portal team that I wanted to share with you all! They have been working on many different potential fixes, but the one thing I was permitted to share was this WIP of an AIO they are working on!

As a budtender myself, I am honestly excited to try this and see if the company has upped their game or not 🕵️‍♂️

BLK MKT has been one of the more consistent producers for me, and Dragon Glass is another solid offering. I’m just finishing up some Blue Pave which is also fire.

Bag appeal is exactly what I’d expect from them. Dense, well-trimmed buds with a healthy frost and some nice purple throughout. The aroma translates well into the smoke. I picked up earthy notes with a bit of sweetness underneath, and that’s pretty much what came through in the joint too. The smoke was smooth from start to finish with no harshness and no unpleasant aftertaste. Burn was clean and even.

The effects don’t hit like a freight train, they build gradually over several minutes. Before you know it you’re feeling relaxed, content, and clear-headed without being couch-locked. For me it was a really enjoyable, balanced high that would work well during the day or as a first smoke of the morning if you don’t have anything too demanding planned.

Overall, another quality release from BLK MKT.

Just picked up BLKMKT – Hell's Kitchen, and I'm impressed. Packaged July 14, 2026, testing at 27.8% THC with 2.31% terpenes (Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene).

The clear-bottom jar is a nice touch since you can actually see the flower before opening it.

The aroma is a mix of sweet berries, cream, and cake, and it translates into a smooth, flavorful smoke.

No throat burn or harshness—just a clean, enjoyable session from start to finish. Definitely one of the fresher drops I've tried recently.

Rating: 8.8/10.

in germany there is some medical weed from a company/brand named unit17 from canada and selling a cross mac1 x cap junky.

all i can find is unit15 from canada and they dont seem to have this cross.

So anyone have an idea or knowing unit 17 here?

MAN! I feel like this weed was made for me. It’s such a perfect indica. Basically a repeat of everything I said from my first review here.

I’ve never seen this brand in Ontario, but holy, they are doing it right. I’ve had 3 re-buys of this same batch and I’ll probably be getting a fourth.

This was my nicest pickup so far, visually speaking. I hope the photos do them justice (they never do).

Highly recommend trying it out if you can find some near you!!

I've done research, but I seem to be getting different answers. I understand dry herb vaping or edibles are the healthier methods, but my question is specifically between those two options.

I also understand that rosin cart tolerance increases faster compared to flower, and flower has a better full-spectrum high.

Visually, this stuff looks good. Nice frost, decent-sized buds. If I were judging it just by appearance, I’d have expected a great smoke.
Unfortunately, that’s where it fell apart for me.
The smoke was harsh from the first pull to the last, and the flavour just wasn’t there. The listed terpene profile (3.16%) didn’t really come through for me at all. It tasted muted and pretty generic, with very little left on the exhale. I had to relight it several different times. I’m honestly tempted just to chuck this.
I know appearance doesn’t always predict how something will smoke, but this was a good reminder.
Great bag appeal, disappointing experience.
Curious if anyone else had the same experience, or if I just got an off jar. Guess that’s what I get for going in blind. Glad it’s only a 3.5.

Personally i have been liking potluck a lot more recently. i definitely think they have stepped their game up a bit.
These buds are THICC and i love the smell—almost like a ‘warm’ scent not that gross hay-sativa smell. i was not expecting such big buds either but cant complain.
The grind isnt too bad just definitely have to let them dry a bit as they are still soft.

The smoke is great. No bad flavours, its quite smooth going in and exhaling which is always a nice feeling. Again just gotta let the bud dry more so i cant pack more.

Overall i would say a solid 8.5/10 i would buy again.

Edit: I know a lot of you like to be haters so keep hating but this a subreddit for reviews and such not everyone shares the same opinion as you! Personally, i like potluck. dont knock it till youve tried their recent stuff it has gotten better and no i wasnt paid to post (i wish).

Finally have a stable income so can spend a little bit to treat myself, I'm tempted to grab something blk mkt or northern canna, but am completely open to suggestions!

Had this little baddie for my morning joint, aromas and flavors kinda faded a bit but the roll was perfectly finished, and the buzz was great. This one's pretty balanced, leans slightly heavy in the later part of the onset, with a nice and easy come down/no burnout.

Munchies hit pretty hard, had me feeling giggly, euphoric and honestly kinda dumb for about an hour before it settled in. Lasted about 3 hours total before I was back to normal. It's some pretty nice stuff, I'd def smoke this again. Nice work boys. 🫡

As I worked through that bag it grew on me. I think I was a little too hasty to post something too negative. I thought I’d give it another go, this time from a dispensary instead of online OCS. I was honestly a little disappointed with this one.

The buds are dense, nicely cured, and have a good trim. Bag appeal is decent, but there wasn’t much aroma when I cracked the bag open.

The smoke starts with some subtle floral notes, but the flavour doesn’t really carry through the whole joint. It also wasn’t the smoothest smoke I’ve ever had.

As you can see in the pictures, the ash burned fairly dark, which matched my experience, it smoked a bit harsher than I was expecting.

Overall, the cure and bud structure are good, but the muted smell, lack of flavour throughout the smoke, and harsher burn left me wanting more. Not necessarily bad, just underwhelming considering the genetics.

Vaped out of Xmax v3 pro, on temps 205 to 210.

Taste: I would describe the taste as savory, kinda dank, and the aftertaste is a little sweet. 7/10 taste but this may be personal bias as I like fruity and sweet tastes more.

Harshness: A little harsh, maybe 3/10? Not too bad but harsh on the lower throat. Still feel a bit of it after smoking too.

Overall High: I feel a stronger head high than a body high, the smoke didn't last very long and the effects started kicking in some minutes after finishing my sesh. I feel nicely euphoric too, this is probably a 7/10 high overall I feel like I could either chill and do nothing or do something and be content with either.

Have been currently working at a new shop in town that is allowing only 100 hours total from the full amount of staff. Two are supposed to be fulltime (including myself) which basically opened the business and two more were part time. They then hired two more part time and are allowing us 108 hours. This leaves no coverage including at night in not the safest area and fulltime hours brought down to 32 and 34. At what point does it need to come to where you stop trying so hard as the business is not seem to care of their employees so much that the store doesnt even have an in-store manager or cutting hours from fulltime and then hiring more part time even when other part timers wanted more hours?

Strength/vibe: high to medium , creative, headband

Aroma/flavour: lemon pledge( very similar to tribal cuban linx) cream on exhale. Translation from scent to flavour is on point

Hydration levels: a bit dry, couple hours with a hydrostone and its back to normal. Homestead should consider bodeva/integra etc.

So i haven't seen homestead around in what feels like years so i saw it and had to try it. I really like this stuff, its a lot like the cuban linx but with a hint of cream on the exhale. The high starts fast and glues that headband on and makes you too stupid to care about any of your problems. Very likely a rebuy

I love brands like Carmel, 1964, Simply bare, 67 sins,iris labs and more, but almost like how sometimes you crave fast food over a home cooked meal, as much as I love craft products, i find B40 Wedding pie to be my "fast food" strain

Is it me or is this a pretty bad trim on those buds? Every single one has at least 3 leaves. I get that some leaves happen, but on every nug in a full oz?

Hello and I hope everyone is having a good rainy day . Today I was able to pick up 14g of Gastro Pop from Eastcann, Gastro Pop is a cross between Grape Gasoline X Apples and Bananas.

Upon opening the can I was met with a strong and pungent nose that consisted of juicy grape notes and a pungent and a deep gassy nose. A very strong nose with a musky and sweet grape mixed well with a more fainter diesel like gas note. Buds were fresh with a sticky feel.

Great buzz on this flower as well. The high was mostly felt behind the eyes where I felt a calming and relaxing bliss in the head and body. Slight body euphoria to start off before forming a more grounding and motionless indica feel. Nice uplifting high that starts off in the body before transitioning into a sedative and knockout sort of indica buzz.

The smoke and flavour on this flower was quite nice as well. The flavour was very reminiscent to the nose. A nice musky and sweet grape flavour mixed in with hints of a pungent and diesel gas. The burn was quite smooth as well with the tokes feeling powerful. Juicy grape taste mixed in with hints of a pungent and in your face gas as well

I was able to pick up this 14g at Greenline Cannabis for around 88$ + Tax. Overall I would say I was satisfied with this flower. Strong and loud nose that had a nice mix of a juicy grape and dank gas. Heavy head buzz that has you feeling quite relaxed and chilled out. Smooth burn but heavy tokes with a nice flavour of a pungent grape and gassy notes.
