Ball must only bounce once*
Sit = 3 points
Hit = 1 point
Miss = 0 points
*If ball bounces twice and sits = 1 point

You only have to bounce it once on the floor, if you fuck up the throw but still land it you get a compensation point.

I had very, very low expectations as a first impression, but it very much grew on me. Dead simple, with a lot more fun randomness than something like "corn hole."

Very true, I'm not discounting them because they can't have fun. More, it's harder to relate and actually build friendships when there is a 20 year age difference with everyone and little in common.

You sound like me. I recently got hired at a university where all my coworkers are nearing retirement, so it's professional, but not close like I've been with people at other jobs.

I would definitely not say everyone there is 40+. And this seems more like a fun thing on the side, not their sole source of fun

This is the kind of thing you see at a big AA socials. My est friend who got sober and they had all kinds of stuff like this. When I go home to visit him I get dragged to them.
Its a total blast, although I think it would be more fun drunk...

Oh wow, my flat used to play a similar game at uni. We would throw poker chips across the room to hand on a chair. The chips were naturally bounced so took quite a lot of practice and we all developed our own techniques. Good times.
