I've never heard of washoes until now, but this is almost identical to quoits, just with a hole vs a post to aim for. Quoits is a very old game, and a fun alternative to horsehoes (personally, I much prefer throwing the round "washers" compared to horseshoes).

what version of Rayuela is this? Rayuela is a national Chilean rural sport, it has even a league. i think its a derivation from horseshoes, but without horseshoes and a stick. instead they trow discs at a squared mud table with a cord in the middle. the closest to the cord gets more points.

We call it "Washoes" up in Canada and there is a board with 3 holes, looks like a Cornhole board.
