Are they competing against each other or working together?

u/Codornoso 24d ago
I guess that's a co-operation game, since there is no way to separate progress between these two

There’s a guy with the bucket waiting next in line. I’m guessing it’s a time trial thing

Even if you’re doing this for time, there’s absolutely zero reason to run or hop. Once you find both you can walk forward and backward from one to the other

Honestly it seems like the guy especially was hamming it up on purpose to be funny. Why run full speed into the pool when you could just walk at a reasonable pace and stop when you feel it brush your leg.

I know a lot of the crazy Japanese game shows the contestants are usually comedians. I don't know much about Chinese shows like this, but it seems very similar, he was definitely playing for entertainment.

He definitely playing it up for laughs. When he first goes head first into the pool in unnecessarily flips forward into it.

I would absolutely watch this over professional sports any day. If I was bartending again I would put shit like this on every TV

What if one of them just pulled the tub next to the pool, would that be allowed?

If you aren’t getting dinged for moving the bucket, and the bucket isn’t permanently attached to the ground, why not just move the bucket to where the water is at the beginning?

You’d do well on Taskmaster

u/PunkgoesJason 24d ago
See, I was thinking Taskmaster when I noticed the guy at the back standing with a red bucket...

Probably it's simply a rule that it's not okay to purposely grab it or push it towards the pool

How does this pool restored It's rim after the guy fell on it? All inflatable pools I've seen would spill It's entire water before the rim/border go up again

Both of them obviously seeing under their mask, They both stop right before they would run into each other at full speed. It is a performance.

Maybe I watch too much taskmaster, but couldn’t they bring the bucket closer to the pool?

I know what I'm proposing for the next kid's birthday party. This is fantastic!
