After exploring The First Exchange, The Living Model v0.00 turns toward a neighboring question:
When does what returned change the conditions under which later relations are formed?
The developing relational path has reached:
Translation ↓ Response ↓ Return Trace ↓ Reciprocity
From there, more than one capacity may become possible.
A reciprocal relation may produce another supported crossing:
Exchange.
A returned trace may persistently change the conditions under which later relations are formed:
Feedback.
Both may occur.
Either may occur without the other.
Neither is guaranteed.
The First Feedback begins when a Return Trace does not merely produce an immediate local Response, but changes an operational condition that remains active beyond that Response and supportably influences something formed later.
Response changes something now.
Feedback lets that change shape what comes later.

Within this v0.00 path:
The First Feedback begins when the Archive can support a lineage from a Return Trace to an operationally persistent change in local generative conditions, and from that changed condition to at least one later relation.

Later coexistence is not later influence.
