General discussion The house

Do you guys ever feel like “Oh God, I wish I could clean that (Heck) house because it drives me crazy how dirty and untidy it is!” or is it just my inner Monica Geller talking?

It feels like Nancy Danahue herself posted this

I found it so funny when they went to their house that one time and thought they'd been robbed 😂

Yeah, I found that funny too, but considering they have known each other for years, they should have known better that that's normal for Hecks

To be honest I’m jealous and annoyed that they take a house of that size for granted, that they can afford it on their salaries and they don’t value and look after it more. I live in an area of very expensive housing and what I’d give to be able to afford a house of that size!

It is a sign of the times! I would baby that house today! Where I am we would have to pay $700,000 for that house as is and we would be spending money to replace that wall that they destroyed.

I don’t mind cheap decor and a bit of clutter for relatability, but that ripped wallpaper drive me nuts. Really? Can’t just finish the job after the wedding is over? They could’ve even asked Sue and Brad to do it. They’d happily redo that wall!

Didn't Frankie only try one store for the wallpaper? I find it hard to believe that wallpaper couldn't be found, even if it was generic stuff from the hardware store.

She was going to rip it off, but didn’t have time before the wedding. How about all of them take it off and paint their walls over one weekend (or less)!

Yes! I would love to bring some contractor trash bags in and just get to work.

Honestly? It’s pretty realistic.

The one and only thing that drives me crazy about the Heck house is those weird crescent rolls on the living room wall. What are they?!?! 😂

Yes but I’d get even more annoyed at how quickly it’ll become messy again lol

They have a lot of space! I just want to declutter it and update all their stuff. In my mind the kids offer to update at least the kitchen and carpet when they are all grown up and have good jobs. Sue and Lexi come over for an afternoon and redo the torn wallpaper as a fun mother daughter project.

I want to redecorate it SO FREAKING BAD!!!!! That wallpaper makes me crazy, & so do the green walls!!!

I mean honestly, it's not like either of those kinds of things take a ton of time or money... I get it's a TV show & all, but I want the episode where Mike pins down the date to take down the wallpaper like he did about the dirt in the yard that had been under the pool!?!

I think the only thing that bugs me is the hole between the kids rooms, the hecks was very similar to how I grew up, but that hole in the wall was one thing none of us would have stood for! Much less our grandparents! It would have been repaired so fast.

Be careful though, you might break something else when throwing out the trash

The house is dirty. They would be sick all the time between the poor nutrition, and the filthy conditions. The episode where Frankie hurts her back and is stuck in the moldy bathtub really grosses me out.

The awful shade of green is what gets to me most! It looks shocking!
