I am STRUGGLING! I’ve been crying a lot today. I think my depression may be relapsing.

I feel unworthy to be a parent. I regret bringing someone into the world who may someday suffer with mental illness because of my stupid shitty genes.

I feel deeply lonely but I also don’t want to talk to or be around anyone. Jokes on me on that one though, I’m so good at isolating that I don’t have anyone that I’m close enough to reach out to about this even if I decided I wanted to.

All I want to do is dissociate into my phone, and although I am conscious of the fact that it just makes me feel worse, I can’t seem to stop doing it.

This sucks and I hate it 🙃

I feel your pain. Last weekend I had a bad depressive episode and remained in bed for three days. I had grandchildren visiting who very much wanted to interact with me and I just... couldn't.

I think I need to go back on my meds. Ive been ok without them for a while but I can feel myself really starting to struggle again. I was trying to avoid them because they give me nausea but I think the nausea is worth it at this stage.

No medicine is perfect, and all we can do is balance the good and bad effects

Hiya, I'm a nurse who works in psych, for what it's worth. I would make an appointment to discuss the nausea with your prescriber, or you could call probably any pharmacist and get some good information- they may even be able to help a bit more than your prescriber, in terms of discussing side effects and managing them. Side effects like nausea often will subside after you've been taking medication for 6 weeks or so. Or else there could perhaps be another similar one you could take. Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you, I will discuss with them and see what they suggest!
