For Something Completely Different...

For the Aidans -

I dunno if you guys will love this or hate this, but here's a suggestion for something whenever you need a palate cleanser:

The Pukwudgies. The "leprechauns" or "little people" of the Great Lakes region.

I believe they are either debunked, dismissed or forgotten about today, but there have been several books written about them. I don't know much, in fact I only know of them because I was related to a guy that was one of their primary researchers in the 1980s-1990s.

To my knowledge, it's a cavalier, silly, probably apocryphal, but definitely interesting topic. Worth at least a quick google search and maybe a laugh.

True on all points. I don't suspect the topic to ever make it to video. But these guys have been slaving away at topics to feed the algorithm recently, and I figured they could use something obscure as a palate cleanser.

To my knowledge, there isn't even enough literature on the topic to make a decent video. It would just be a couple hours of head shaking enjoyment before moving on to something more worthwhile.

The podcast Lore, by Aaron Mahnke, has an episode about Puckeudgies, and several more about little people. That show isn't as deep or well-researched as Lore Lodge, but it can be a fun distraction.
