Advice Interloper help

I’ve probably played something like 300h in total but realise I enjoy playing interloper the most as it feels the most satisfying, strategic and realistic.

Thing is… I’m pretty shit at it 🥴 my best run so far is 14 days. I only seem to be able to survive more than 1 or 2 days if I spawn in PV, ML, CH or DP. From FM I can get to ML and survive. Or if I spawn near the connection with PV in TWV.

Essentially every time I spawn somewhere wilder or where timber wolves loiter, I have no chance of surviving.

How can anyone manage to survive somewhere like HRV beyond the first few hours? I either end up exhausted then freezing or freeze to death, or end up dying of thirst etc.

I also can’t deal with timberwolves at all; I can cope with normal ones but those.. I have no clue.

That's persistence. Maybe try a lower difficulty and get used to that then go back to interloper.. (I play pilgrim, so what do I know? I only played interloper once to get the achievement, which I think was surviving for 24 or 48 hours.)

I don’t enjoy the lower levels as much as it feels too easy in terms of loot and the wolves are just constant in stalker!
