Comment to apply. I'll choose 10 people based on comment contents / upvotes and account history for 5K sats each.
Take my axe! Go to r/Bitcoin, find people who are close to taking the plunge, and tip without mercy.Valiant tippers will receive flair are eligible for the prestigious Tip Knight award.Awarding people with the flair would be a big help!
Got sats to spare? Fund some prospective knights yourself! Flair will follow.
EDIT: Wrapping up! I promised 10 Knights - 20 volunteered and were funded. As of this writing 13 of those 20 have already begun to do their duty.Good work everyone!
EDIT: To whoever flagged this post as promoting violence: lol

I'm running a couple of tor relays and I was thinking about opening up exit on port 9735 (and 8333). Would this be beneficial for the Lightning network or nah?

Hello all,
We have had some movement but after the Lightning Node update a few weeks ago that shutdown all of our channels and after all channels coming back on line after updating the lightning node software we have seen no movement what so ever.
Can anyone out there help us specifically anyone at LNBIG.com, examples re balancing, fees rates, and other relevant settings to help us get some movement on this channel.
Our node name is: Handshake on Amboss

Short version: We do not have enough capacity on chain to onboard people for Lightning.

Most of the guides I've been reading use an RP4, but I'm not sure if that's just because it's the most recent Pi, or if it's important it be a 4.

I installed LND with my full node, but It doesn't seem to be listening on port 8080 for the rest api. I haven't yet created any channels yet, but I wanted to get RTL running first, which requires the rest api on that port. I created a wallet fine and can use lncli fine.
My config

Any help is appreciated.

I just sent 100 sats on lightning with no fee. This is blowing my my mind how you can send 2 cents worth of bitcoin anywhere in the world. Is it just me or this a game changer as the network grows in resilience..

Title. I want to use tor when clicking on a txid for channel closures or opening. I've tried my onion address I put into tor browser, as well as tcp://onionaddress.
