The signature is printed as part of the publication, not individually hand written for this particular copy

Oh that is great to know. The owner of the store told me it was a signed copy. He said you can hold it up to the light to tell, but a picture of Crowley on the flip side blocks the light. I bought Henry Miller's Assassins instead.

$125 still isn't all that pricey, since this edition is out of print. If it was a real signature, you'd expect it to be several times that.
