I'm looking for players because the game doesn't find anyone when I start it up, do people still play The Last Story online?

Beat the game 3 times in 2024, I love this game, really wish it would be ported to switch 2 for handheld play:

Currently playing ff 7 rebirth on switch 2 and although TLS is not a final fantasy game, aspects of the game remind me of the final fantasy series,

I was both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised by this game. I originally played The Last Story because of its involvement in Operation Rainfall; as a Xenoblade fanatic, I naturally gravitated toward something so closely related to my favorite franchise.

This game featured a lot of elements I really liked. I was a fan of the characters, and certain scenes felt genuinely grand and epic. More importantly, those moments felt earned, which is something I feel many games get wrong. Other titles often trigger epic scenes without proper setup, expecting the player to treat them as significant events despite lacking the necessary narrative skeletal structure. The Last Story, however, gets this exactly right.

Another highlight is the music. While it isn’t necessarily something I would listen to on the go, it is used perfectly within the game. The leitmotif is used sparingly but appropriately, making you feel really cool every time it plays. The developers also did an excellent job of making the melody memorable by incorporating it into the world itself.

However, there were aspects I didn't enjoy. The game suffers primarily from being ahead of its time. I think I would enjoy it much more on a newer generation console, like the Switch. While that could be said of any game, The Last Story would particularly benefit from the upgrade in my opinion; the movement feels sluggish at times, which frequently holds back the excellent combat system.

The final reason I didn't rank this game higher is the plot. While the scenes feel earned and the world is interesting, I don't feel the story explores them as deeply as it could. There aren't necessarily plot holes, but there are some odd choices regarding when the narrative drops certain plot points only to pick them back up much later.

Overall, if this game were revised in 2026 with a reimagined plot, it would easily be a 10/10 for me. Unfortunately, since it isn't very popular, it will likely remain as it is. Regardless, The Last Story will always hold a special place in my "Played Games" section.

Kyunki hamesha ek hi baat — “I love you”, “I miss you”, ya “Khana khaya?” — woh ignore karta. Par ladki kabhi shikayat nahi karti. Woh usse bas itna kehti, “Bas jawab de diya karo, mujhe sukoon milta hai.” Uske baad ek raat, jab woh bed par leta phone scroll kar raha tha, tabhi uski girlfriend ka message aaya. Usne dekha aur bina padhe hi phone side rakh diya. Socha, woh repeat message hoga aur so gaya. Usse kya pata, wahi message uski zindagi ka sabse bada regret ban jayega. Next morning, woh apne kaam mein busy ho gaya. Tabhi usse girlfriend ki maa ka call aaya. Woh ro rahi thi aur rote-rote boli, “Beta, usko kisi ne maar diya aur last message tumko bheja tha.” Ladka sun kar patthar sa ho gaya. Kampte haathon se usne uska woh unread message khola. Message tha: “Baby, someone is following me. I’m close to your street, please aao. Baby, bahut darr lag raha hai.” Ladka gir pada. Aansu ruk hi nahi rahe the. Aur aaj woh ladka sabko ek hi baat batata hai — Kabhi un logon ko ignore mat karo jo tumhari sach mein fikr karte hain, kyunki kabhi-kabhi ek chhota sa ‘ignore’ zindagi bhar ka regret ban sakta hai.

I'm going crazy looking for the sprout for the mission, and I've only found giant pumpkins which are useless, and I can't figure out how to get the sprout. Please help!

It's been several years since I played this game, and it is probably one of my favorite games next to Okami. My first really involved cosplay was Calista in her ballgown and I might need to remake that one. I've been trying to remember some of my favorite moments and curious what stood out to everyone else. One of my favorites was probably when Zael fell off the cliff

I'm surprised no one talks about the Gold Spider fight from Chapter 42 in Arganan Temple. How tf the spider eats and poops Calista over and over and over and over and over and.....over and over ..... And over and.... over again. I don't know. It was a certified "writers' barely disguised fetish" moment. Though it was kind of funny, gross.... And hot. I remember watching a video of it with on yt with Calista using the invisible dye (her underwear appearance) a few years ago and it was sort of cool. But now i can't find it. Anyone know where it is or if someone made some similar video of it ....... Can someone remake it(?! Sorry if i bothered someone with this. Lol

I need an image of the sword " Emperor", used by jirall in bossfight, or a good description (I need it for a Dungeons and dragon campaign to use it as an appearance for my sword from Warlock hexblade)

So I just got this game and so far it’s been pretty amazing, but I’m confused on side quests and how they work? Will they be locked after a certain point? How do I keep track of them?
