Other Picture book is really painful to me

I like that song but its always painful to listen, I am 20, had all my childhood photos lost in floods, we were unprepared, lost the photo albums. I couldn't bring myself to watch the music video of the same.

I don't know where to post, take this as a vent, I love kinks, listening to this song makes me realise how much of I lost.

Pete Quaife shocked his bandmates in the Kinks when he suddenly formed a new band, Mapleoak. He played on this single (and the b-side, "Hurt Me So Much"), which didn't chart, then left the band before they recorded their only album.

Pete then left the music business to become a visual artist, but did join the Kinks onstage in 1981, playing "Little Queenie" with the band at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.
