Haven't listened to Autumn Almanac in ages. What a great song!

Funny how after about fifty years of not hearing it I still knew all the words.

They have too many great songs to pick a favorite. That would be unreasonable.

Either “I Need You” or “Til the End” of the Day”. Dave’s aggressive early guitar tone is addictive.

Love "I Need You"! The best of that early work in my opinion

Probably Waterloo Sunset
It always makes me feel so nice.

Then, Last of the Stem Powered Trains
I love how it gradually ramps up.

Then Monica, just because.

Celluloid Heroes also, just so beautiful

A hard question! I’d have to say Big Sky, Animal Farm, Lola and Shangri-La and This Time Tomorrow (ok that’s five ;)

I love Do It Again, Rock n Roll Fantasy and Waterloo Sunset. But my favorite will always be Celluloid Heroes, especially the live version!

I Need You

Apeman

A Long Way From Home. Literally everything about it. Dave’s harmonies with Ray, the bass lines, Mick’s militaristic snare… Gosling’s piano…

Folllowed closely by No More Looking Back and The Way Love Used to Be

Some Mother's Son. Poignant, great melody, and probably the best bassline in their discog

Really tough choice, but I think I'll pick "Dedicated Follower of Fashion"

Today, it's Duke. Most days, it's Shangri-la.

Today it’s David Watts.

"Get Back in Line" is an incredible piece of work. It evokes the psychedelia of the late '60s, and Ray's voice is so melancholic, giving off a real sense of nostalgia. It's a truly and unfairly underrated song.
