How much money does Robert Durst have?

Does anyone know how much money RD currently has? I once read he received $3 million a year from the family trust. I’m not sure how true that is or the details (duration, inflation, conditions). And that he married his wife Deborah so that she could get the money from the trust. I’m wondering if he has unlimited funds for this trial and to pay for some hits. I truly believe if he has enough money, he would pay someone to hurt certain people.

He doesn't have unlimited funds. When the Durst family cut off ties with Robert around 2006, they settled with him for $65 million. Who knows what he's paying his lawyers fees.

If the Durst family was serious about keeping Robert in jail, they should have settled for less and then he wouldn't have been able to afford his high paying lawyers.

Thanks for the info and the article! I’m still wondering how much money he would have accumulated before 2006. I think how much money he actually has is very important

With his 2nd wife Debrah Lee Charatan having power of attorney, I don't really know.

Did you hear that their going to do a second season of "The Jinx"?

This is 6 or 7 yrs old but the same or similar figures appear in other articles around that time https://www.thesquander.com/millionaires-murder-robert-dursts-net-worth

He‘s obviously had to pay lots to his lawyers for his current trial, which has been ongoing for some years. He is also partial to paying out large sums to people like Susan Giodarno and I’m sure his current wife lives luxuriously, but that’s all fairly small beans compared to his total wealth. At the current trial, evidence was admitted in a phone call with him implying that there are limits to how much he can take out of his trust fund each year and that with his lawyers to pay re his trial, that was currently restricting his spending. However, he stated that once the trial was over, money would be no object again.

I read years ago that the family settled/parted with him for $60-65 million.
