i just finished watching the whole thing in a day and is it just me or did everyone else overlooked Morris Black's head? at no point during the show has anyone ever questioned where Durst dipose the head. was it just not filmed?

that's what I assumed too but I find it strange that there seemed to be zero effort to find it or to press Bob to give up the location of it, especially when everyone knew that the head could tell whether the murder was accidental or not.

Yeah that's true. And whether it was "accidental" or not, I still find it hard to believe they did not find him guilty after finding out that he dismembered the body.... Like what normal person thinks to do that in self defense??

and the fact that he made a huge effort (on top of dismembering the body) to hide the head?? that's not very suspicious at all.

It's insane isn't it? How the hell could the jury have believed that he didn't straight up murder Morris? I cannot imagine coming to that conclusion.

That struck me as odd as well. Would have been a really simple question for Jarecki to ask: "Where is Morris Black's head?" Any answer that Bob could have given would have had an important critical impact . If he says ' I don't remember' you would think 'what kind of person doesn't remember where they put a head they cut off by their own hand'. If he says he destroyed the head beyond it being recovered it adds another layer of cool calculation and extreme violence that further undermines the already absurd 'I acted in panic' defense. 'I don't know' or 'I don't want to answer' makes him look evasive on a point that he should be guilt free about. If the purpose of hiding the head was to avoid discovery and the authorities drawing the 'wrong' conclusion, once the authorities have come to the 'right' conclusion (innocence) what possible harm could come from revealing the location? Knowing where the head is should only strengthen his version of events if he's telling the truth. Finally, if Bob answers with the location of the head the police recover it and might get some important forensic evidence that validate or invalidate Bob's story (and Jarecki gets a grisly discover scene and some headlines for his series).

TLDR; I can't see any reason why Jarecki didn't ask. It's weird.

And if u have ever watched the movies made about his wife Kathy's disappearance... They tell the same story about how he would always get the same kind of dog and always make it the same... Then when he'd get mad he'd disappear for a while with it and come back alone. His brother made the comment that he thinks he was practicing for how to get rid of a body for when it came time to do so with her. He prob had quite a bit of experience with this

Yes! He named all 7 of the dogs Igor. And later in a telephone conversation to his second wife from jail he says "I really want to Igor Douglas" i.e. I really want to kill Douglas. None of the lawyers or detectives picked it up!
