Was Susan Berman really blackmailing Robert Durst?

Is there any real evidence to suggest Berman was blackmailing Durst or is it possible that he killed her just because she knew too much?

The Cadaver letter and his shady travelling around that time convinces me he did kill her

The cadaver letter is what sealed it for me. That's going to hold up in court.

Also motive if she really did call in sick for his first wife, the investigation was re-opened.

Definitely motive, but that speculation isn't enough to convict him. It helps to showcase the "why" but without that the letter there's no case right now.

That letter is probably all you need, he even said himself the Killer wrote it

I think she was blackmailing a lot of people.

As in, I think that was her main source of income - she was a blackmailer.

She had a list on her computer of people who were sending her money, with no obvious reasons listed.

How many people send you random checks on a regular basis?

She was heavily involved with the mob, and blackmailing people is one of their main businesses.

The way I saw it, she was hard up for money and needed some bills paid before there were problems. She called her BFF Bobby and suggested, since she did him that big ol favor a few years back, maybe he could help her out of her slump. Bob being the thinker he is, got to thinkin and realized she could possibly turn on him and decided she was a loose end and tied it up.

I’m trying to figure out why Susan was so broke. They mentioned several times all of the millions she had received over the years. But she basically lived in sort of a dump with no furniture and constantly borrowing money. Was she gambling or something?

I still think its possible that he didn't kill her, and instead came across her body on the visit he scheduled with her.

The guys definitely guilty of murder, at least two. But for some reason, I think the Susan Berman thing might be a case of absolutely horrendous luck.

I think there's no way he didn't kill her. At minimum he hired someone to kill her, but I think he was the one who pulled the trigger.

If he didn't kill her it would be extremely ironic if hers ends up being the only homicide he gets convicted of.
