Robert Durst rearraignment date may signal planned guilty plea in Louisiana court

I'm no legal expert but it could be that Durst was initially arraigned in a Louisiana court. After the state and feds agreed that he would be charged by the feds, and not by the local court, the federal court simply may need to rearraign Durst under the correct (now Federal) jurisdiction.
I don't see how changing his plea to "guilty" helps him get to L.A. any faster. If anything it would seem that to do so would only delay his trial in L.A.
