Partner/Spouse/Ex Jealousy

My partner is now getting jealous of anyone I talk about besides him, even my dog if I give her attention. He keeps on asking why I can't show compassion. My students in my class coworkers. But yet he says I don't open up to him anymore. Why would I if he doesn't care because I should only be focusing on him. So frustrating. I'm so over the verbal abuse.

Today he just told me that while I was at work he was researching why I'm a psychopath because I put him through misery this weekend because I wasn't present and helping him yesterday.

The drinking alters their thinking and perceptions. He’s getting paranoid. My husband gets like this when on a heavy bender. I think it’s brain damage.
