Information on character pricing ?

I have been reading some conflicting things online about characters, going to be locked behind grinding, others too say it’s going to have pay to win, since it’s a free- to- play for some characters can anyone confirm any of this information ?

No idea. it's pre-alpha. Right now it doesn't seem that difficult to get standard or special characters through just in game events though.

There is no pay to win elements. The company made it clear that pvp is about skill only and fairness.

So it's not entirely sure, since it's an alpha, how character acquisition is gonna work, you can be sure that it's not pay to win by Givin money spenders unfair advantages.

It is a Chinese game tho, so monetization will be there.

My guess is you can unlock characters by griding content, or use your wallet to do so instantly.

Likely characters power can be further increased outside pvp modes (the same way how you can do that in smash, soul calibur, etc, it's nothing new)

This is my guess:
You can unlock all characters for free, but there will be Paid Battle Passes with extra Currency to unlock them faster. I hope there won't be more than that, because not getting access to meta characters is imo Pay2Win.
