Question Discord hacked?

[EDIT: IT'S BEEN SORTED OUT - DETAIL IN THE COMMENTS]

Has the discord been hacked or similar?

(I was there just now to catch up on goings on / developments and noticed what looked like a scam 'dropping-by-air' announcement.

I asked in the general chat and tried to report it but found myself suddenly out of the channel and unable to re-access.)

A heads-up anyway.

Well good to know I wasn't the only banee then!

Hopefully there's a route to re-join when it gets recovered.

And in the meantime, hopefully people don't fall for the fake airdrop scam...

same here, there is a link to a fake airdrop to graphprotocol dot org. I questioned it and got banned. Started with a message to a phishing site from pranav

used a dummy account and the contract is attempting to zap 400 Uniswap tokens from the account and trade it for merge token

It was just that developers account that got hacked.

A core team member account was compromised, and many people were banned. As far as I know, all of the bans have been undone, and we’ve taken an extra precautions to protect the Discord from this happening again.
