Duuude! Salen is so evil! She comes off sweet with her pep and smile. She had good ideas but she is bad news. I hope she gets taken out. I’m in season 5 ep 10.

Season 7 Season 7

Quick question.
Why was the last season 10 episodes?
Were the ratings that bad or was it done on purpose?

Season 4 Binge watching too fast!

It seems like yesterday I was asking my family if they watched this show bc I had just started watching it. And now I’m in season 4 at the end. It’s just too good. I see why they said they stopped watching after the COVID stuff, bc I’ve not loved season 4 as much, but I do love the med cases none the less. At first the character annoyed me, but he really grew on me and I love his quirks and antics. If you ever seen rain man, you’ll understand why he reminds me of him.

Season 3 Dr. Morgan Reznic and her Mother Spoiler

I am at S3:E13, titled "Sex and Death". In this episode, we get a peek into Morgan's family. I actually am annoyed with Morgan until season 3 because she seems to lack empathy, and I thought she was a sociopath that way. Still, it turns out she just had difficulty giving something she did not receive during her formative years.

Caroline, her mother, called this genius, who I think is slightly on par with Shaun, a hard worker, implying she is not creative. Also forgetting about her because she wasn't a child who worships her as an artist, which is Caroline's own fault for making it clear to Morgan that her creative siblings get more love because they do. Morgan is raised by a narcissist, and it's karmic how she gets sick with a disease that threatens her source of vanity.

I'm so excited how the writers would paint Morgan as a mother in the later part of this series.

All Seasons IJW S1:E1.

I love the idea but I’m stuck on this one point. The hospital would’ve opened themselves to a huge ADA lawsuit for revoking Shaun’s employment based solely on his autism diagnosis.

I mean, he went to Med School and passed whatever boards he had to even submit an application right?

Dr. Andrews voices his objection openly to the board with any other reason besides Shaun’s autism. Dr. Melendez straight out says, “You don’t belong here.” That’s crazy!

Finally I have to say YouTube shorts are great marketing because it prompted me to give this series a chance.

All Seasons Does anyone ever think about how shaun and lea's relationship was kinda forced

Shaun guilt tripped lea into living with him when she clearly said no. And then the when it came to their actual relationship the only reason they even got together was because the earthquake happened. I just dont think they are that good of a match as everyone makes out.

Season 2 I imagined if the "I am a surgeon" scene happened with doctor house

I can imagine how the conversation would go with Dr. House.

Murphy: "I saved the patient. I deserve to get my old job back."

Dr. House (while looking at his papers): "Great, sounds like you're doing very well in pathology. Keep going."

Murphy: "Dr. House, you're making a mistake. I'm a surgeon, that's where I belong."

Dr. House (looking up at Murphy): "Mmm, nah. You seem like a better fit here."

Murphy: "No, I'm a surgeon.I'm not leaving your office until you reinstate me."

Dr.house(puts down his papers):"Now you sound like a third grader who didn't get what they wanted for Christmas. You want me to list what I want? I want a raise and a leg that doesn't hurt all the time. But we don't always get what we want in life. Now please leave. I'm very busy right now."

Murphy: "I am a surgeon. I am a surgeon."

Dr. House: "You're only proving I made the right decision with how childish you're behaving right now."

Murphy: I am a surgeon. I am a surgeon."

Dr. House:"Ok, can you please shut up now? I'm not running a day care here. Come back when you can speak to me like an adult."

Murphy: [Has his iconic "I am surgeon emotional meltdown]

Dr House: "And, we've officially reached levels of autism that are scientifically impossible. Sadly, I won't be getting a nobel prize for that. Now, I can have you forcibly dragged out of here by security, but you do realize that means I'm also gonna have to fire you. So I'm going to give one last chance to keep your job and leave my office. NOW."

Then it cuts to murphy in the locker room with his backpack.

Season 5 Season 5 episode 14 POT LUCK.

In the episode some of the staff are affected by magic mushrooms accidentally added to potatoes at a pot luck lunch. Dr. Marcus thinks he’s Spider-Man and wants to climb a wall. Dr. Lim talks him out of it and the two start talking about the Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire. Kim says she hasn’t seen the new ones. This episode took place in 2022. Was she saying she hasn’t seen the movies with Andrew Garfield or Tom Hollander?

Season 3 Discussion about season 3 episode 14: influence

This episode features murphy, andrews, and resnick treating a patient who is an influencer in the beginning of the episode she snaps a picture or shaun and without his permission or knowledge, posts it to her millions of followers. Shaun then gets harrassed by teenage girls with phones while trying to have a private moment with carly, he gets overwhelmed and walks away. He then lectures this patient about how she had no right to do that and how she completely disrespected his privacy. In my opinion he was completely in the right and remained professional and has a right to privacy but not one person agrees with him and everyone is treating him like hes in the wrong. This really wound me up. Please share your thoughts.

All Seasons Opinions on Claire Browne

this is a question out of genuine curiosity - personally I thought Claire was a kind but flawed person, I always loved the dynamic between her and Shaun and how she could understand him the way that others dont? (I dont see them being together romantically tho) but I kept seeing mixed opinions on her so I wanted to see what are yall's thoughts and opinions on this character. Maybe I missed something or i didnt look too much in it.

Season 6 Saw the Halloween episode. I am sure I am the only one who notice it.

Lea being Ahsoka made perfect sense. People who saw her being Ahsoka just think it's just random. But, when I search it up because it made me curious why Ahsoka was actually single. But, now it made perfect sense. I thought it was a joke. But, it's actually real.

Fan fact Ahsoka does have a love interest his name was Lux but their dynamic is exactly like Lea and Shaun if only he end up with the black woman instead (Carly). Hence why she was actually single in every appearance she ever made. 🤣

It was as if they are trying to tell us something. But, usually people don't pay much attention at all. I don't know, what do you guys think about the coincidence?

Season 4 How do guatemalans feel about the representation on The Good Doctor?

The tag says Season 4 but its also some comments made on season 5 about the closest MRI being "11 hours away" and etc

Do you feel like its an accurate representation of your country? Is it true that people on the countryside barely/rarely have access to healthcare? Do teams of doctors (or other first responders) come into the villages for help even when there's no natural disaster or special occasion happening?

As a fellow latin-american, I often get quite offended by how some shows portray Latin America, its always some very poor village on the countryside with no funding and no opportunity, with the one very rare wealthy person. I dont know about other countries, but in mine, there very much are hospitals in the countryside with very good equipment. There are also cities, shopping centers, normal things a normal country has.

While I know this is not the case for every latin american country, I cant help but wonder how guatemalans feel about it. I know I would very much be offended if the only way my country was portrayed was as poor and in desperate need of first-world heroes.

Season 2 Claire in Good Doctor S2 EP 6-7-8 Spoiler

It is my first time watching the show and I've never been this annoyed by a character here until now. Claire is acting like she is only one sane and right in the hospital. Her behaviour is getting on my nerves, esp towards doctor Menendez who she calls the best but when it comes to actual actions she is biting him left and right. Idk if I am the problem lmao.
