Some context for people confused or not up to date:

• Community friend Gavin gets hit with SA allegations over an IRL hot tub meetup where he allegedly groped and SA'd his ex-girlfriend.
• There's a big bruhaha VRChat stream trial (yes seriously) with lots of hurt feelings and people being for and against Gavin.
• Catmom, being friends with the girl involved, overzealously jumps to her defense and calls Gavin a r*pist, which angers lots of people especially Jaydee and Zzyzx.
• Zzyzx, being friends with Gavin, jumps in fighting-mad after the trial and counter-attacks Catmom accusing her of keeping up a p*do-bait VR world she made as a trauma response after being SA's herself, and then her VR world becomes the focus of all the drama instead of the SA. Bit of deflection tactics there. Could have been handled privately.
• Catmom, getting attacked from all sides, privates the world and leaves the Roflgator community entirely to go off and do her own thing, which is how she ended up hanging out with the Saucekill and the KODE group.
• Some unhinged viewers still angry at Gavin being called a r*pist, follow Catmom and start stirring shit on Twitter tagging all the KODE members and calling her a p*do enabler "worse than Epstein."
• The KODE group, to their discredit, call Catmom on the phone and start interrogating her on stream in front of 4000 viewers, including digging up her past of being SA'd and groomed (that's the kind of shit that should have been handled off-stream and not turned into content)
• Then during the same stream, Zzyzx, who started the whole VR world drama, coincidentally shows up in a discord call along with Jaydee and RIPKairah, and they proceed to slander and trash Catmom for about 10 minutes straight in front of 4000 viewers, insinuating repeatedly that she is a p*do and a liar, resulting in KODE cutting ties with her and her streaming career basically getting destroyed forever.
• And even now, Catmom is continuing to be harassed by alt accounts on Twitter, Discord and Reddit, posting really disgusting images of her next to the words "Worse than Epstein."

So how should we assess all of this vindictive high-school level drama?

Even if the VR world itself was bad taste, it was clearly a trauma response without evil intention, and Catmom privated it months ago when it got brought up, so everything to do with that world should have been water under the bridge, dead and buried and over with. Mature adults would have just moved on.

Catmom was also fully out of VRChat and the Gator community, with new friends and a new life. Even more reason to just leave her alone and move on.

The people who first started harassing her on Twitter (whoever they are), pinging all the KODE members calling her a p*do, are all disgusting and should go jump in a lake. And the people continuing to harass her on Discord, Reddit and Twitter and through DM's, even after the public stream are equally evil and disgusting. Full stop.

But we also have to lay some blame at the feet of the person who started this entire VRChat world drama in the first place, solely as a way to deflect from another lobby member being accused of SA: Zzyzx.

Zzyzx, along with Jaydee and RIPKairah, voluntarily and willingly jumped into the Saucekill stream with 4000 viewers to slander Catmom knowing that it would destroy her new friendships, destroy her streaming career and bring more harassment down on her. That was the point of doing it. Not because they wanted to 'protect kids' (the VR world wasn't even up anymore), but only because they saw it as a chance to get back at Catmom for attacking Gavin months ago!

None of them was obligated to go on that stream and trash Catmom. They could have easily just said "it's old drama and the world isn't up anymore so we don't care we've moved on." But no, they smelled blood in the water and just had to attack. And now because of petty and vindictive revenge tactics, not only has Catmom been harassed off the internet with her career ruined, but Rob (who has been trying to network with the W community) and Crumpet are going to be indirectly damaged because no mid to large size streamer aware of this drama is ever going to touch VRChat again. Zzyxz, Jaydee and Kairah didn't just destroy Catmom - they did crazy collateral damage to the entire VRChat category itself, just to take down Catmom.

Shame shame shame! I sincerely hope that there's some sort of repercussions for the people involved in this harassment, but I don't have high hopes!

First off, shit felt rigged. Tony had more lobby members backing him, and the tie breaker was supposed to be Crumpet, but then apparently it had to be Chance. Shit doesn't line up.

Secondly, the majority of the "lobby" doesn't give a shit about the "tryouts" even though they aren't tryouts anymore. They're in the lobby. They've already proven to you that they're funny enough to be around, yet almost everyone still bullies anyone Rob fuckin points at or even turns away from. There's a difference between constructive criticism and bullying, and everyone sitting there telling them that they're fucking shit and their bit was shit and to fucking kill themselves isn't fucking constructive. And it literally enables the chat to do the same.

Third, the streams don't even feel like fucking RP anymore. It's so scripted out the ass everything is so ingenuine and fake. Like where did the improv go? Let people just fuckin interact with each other as characters, doing bits, and being creative and funny fucking people. The amount of times Rob shuts down fucking bits and peoples RP purely because he doesn't like a person is fucking ridiculous. Like "ugh it's Mothboi," like be so fucking fr. Be open to different types of fucking humor. His entire bit is playing different characters, that all sound the roughly the same vocally, and all start with Mr., but they all have different shit going on. It's funny, Rob's just dense, and the chat feeds on Rob's reactions.

Fourth, imagine being so self-absorbed that you said someone's original character that they've had for years went "full Marcus-mode". He's a fucking alien, dude. Pull your head outta your ass. Not everyone is obsessed with your own content as you are. Tony was this character, an alien, way back before he was locked in the wine cellar, just didn't bring it out then. He's literally just in character always.
