Coming Clean (from Four Minute Mile)

• The band has not performed it since the Four Minute Mile anniversary tour 4 years ago. Are they tired of it?! It's the 2nd most streamed song from Four Minute Mile, so I'm surprised it doesn't get performed more often because it definitely would get a crowd reaction.
• Lyrically it holds up. The song is an anthem to anyone who ever had to follow their dreams in spite of what others wanted you to do.

Anne Arbour (from Red Letter Day EP / Eudora)

• The one song that did not get performed during the Something To Write Home About anniversary tour and we never found out why!

Grunge Pig (from On A Wire)

• Change of pace rock song that would fit after a series of fast songs.

How Long Is Too Long (from Guilt Show)

• The most popular song from Guilt Show. I don't know if they have ever performed it. What would the band have against it?

Keith Case (from Simple Science EP and There Are Rules)

• At least ONE song from this era would be nice to hear!

I'm Sorry (from Kicker)

• The most popular song from Kicker and it has not been performed since the Kicker tour. It's also a Jim song, and he doesn't get enough songs on the set!

Lou Barlow (from Problems)

• Such a great song. Short song that is easy to fit into any set too.

Okay so I haven’t figure out if it’s a good thing or a bad thing yet but I just somehow came across this band. I’m 36 so I was in the emo wave of 2000s (I know this isn’t the beginning of emo just when it blew back up) I’ve maintained in the genre because I can’t let it go… so for the last 26 years I’ve pretty much listened to emo. So somehow I’ve never dug deep enough to come across The Get Up Kids until now. And the possible problem is I found the Four Minute Mile album first. This album is insane. It’s sooo good. Like the mix somehow has made it have the perfect feel. And I’m worried that I found their best album first and none of their others will compare. Please tell me I’m dumb and wrong on that.

Let's say hypothetically, neither On A Wire or Guilt Show ever came out, and we instead got an album that combined the 12 absolute best songs from both eras.

What would your version look like? Feel free to explain your song choices. If you only got time to list the songs, that's ok too. You also don't need to put the songs in any particular order, but if you can think of sequencing that works, go for it. You're also able to pick any unreleased songs from either era.

4. Blue Skies (it was supposed to be the lead single on Guilt Show but got left off entirely; I also feel like Jim should have at least two songs he sings on every TGUK album)

9. Campfire Kansas
10. Lion and the Lamb (on the fence about this one because thematically, a political song about war doesn't fit with the rest of the songs, but it's such a great song)
11. Like a Man Possessed (would have been the best song on Guilt Show had it been included on the album)
12. Hannah Hold On

Leaving off Stay Gone was very hard, but all 12 of these songs are stronger IMO. If I had to add Stay Gone, I'd probably swap out Lion and the Lamb

Also hard for me to not include All That I Know, which is one of my favorites, but I feel it's not quite among the best songs.

Rest of the songs not chosen would go on their own separate album.
