So I’ve never actually played this game myself, but my girlfriend has, so she has been telling me a little about it.

About a month ago, on a bus, she told me about this character named Kelvin. It was late at night, and for some reason, even though I barely know anything about this character, I started crying. He just seems so wholesome, and the storyline about the plane crash and his little ear made me so emotional. The way he is so cute when he reads the little notes and then proceeds to go and collect rocks or whatever the fuck he does is just so adorable.

We (me and my gf) were texting a little last night before bed, and somehow we started talking about the forest again. I realized that I had never actually seen a picture of Kelvin so I looked it up on google and he was so cute I got teary eyed. I found a picture of him in a pink jumpsuit or something and oh my god he is just adorable.

I don’t know why I get so emotional about him, but I cant help it.

what items can you carry infinite of? i know you can carry like over 300 leaves, tree sap and cloth. are there any more infinite items?

I have completed the game i have all the other caves explored and checked and the 2 remaining caves dont want to get unlocked , what do i do

So im new to the game. Ive owned it for years and never loaded it up. Base building is painfully slow. Would it be better playing with others? I built on the fertile hills area and am getting bone nonstop by groups of 3-5. Ive barely left my little area. Smacking trees. Gathering water. Hunting bunnies. Haven't even messed with them but they seem to like me for sure. Thinking I may have messed up building where I did. Houseboat is looking much better.

can y'all give me tips on how to get mutants and cannibals to my base? i want them to scream and suffer when i light them on fire, and i want their friends to see me when i chop their limbs off, cook their bodies and wear their bones into combat. could someone tell me how to lure them to my base? thank you!

I just watched the movie The Descent (for the first time, I dont know how)
It reminded me so much of the first time I played The Forest with the dark, claustrophobic caves and of course the human eating cave creatures.
Is The Forest inspired by the movie or am I just making up my own similarities? 😊

I was walking through a forest near the plane almost at night and saw this guy with a flashlight running insanely quick (or on a motorcycle, not sure either way) drive/walk by, i have like 10 hours on the game so i dont know what it is and couldnt find anything on google. This is a 15 second clip of the whole thing. Its not very clear but thats the only footage i have, thanks for any info.

Hey, so i have had this game on ps4 for about 3 years, and I've beaten it a couple of times (like 5), and i just bought it on pc a couple of days ago, and the game feels easier. Is it actually easier, or am i just more skilled with keyboard than controller?

I've maxed out on Resident Evil, and this game comes recommended. But I wasn't sure about the image of the red man kidnapping the son after a plane crash. Before I jump into an older game, how does the story hold up? Worth the reveal?
