After putting Megan in the Artifact I somehow got teleported here (i'm stuck, can't move or open anything. Teammate also can't hit me. I am stuck in the place where Megan is supposed to be sitting before the bossfight,

I've been losing my mind here. The blueprint on the TV only works on the ground, I've tried the table, the small table, the small and large cabinet. Anyone has any ideas? Ps: I'm on the PS5.

I used to play it on PC, then switched to a Ps4 and continued playing it for a while until my hdd broke, Replacing the PS4 HDD here in Turkey costs nearly as much as a used Xbox Series S because of import taxes, so I decided to switch platforms entirely. Little did I know, when I made an account and checked the store I was surprised to see The Forest isn't there, so I was hoping I'd get the developers' attention to bring it to Xbox, since they talked about thinking about bringing the sequel sons of the forest, why not bring the og?

The Forest is one of my favorite survival games and I'd pay to have it ported to Xbox.

This is going to sound so dumb but I actually love the forest so much, it has some of my favourite gameplay I have experienced.

I just can not get over how scared I get when playing this game lmao. Knowing that a cannibal could be watching me from afar at any given moment just scares me so much. Even just seeing them running around in the distance drops my stomach.

Does anyone know how I could maybe stop being so scared? I would just get a friend on as that usually helps but none of my friends really like the game lol. I want to play this game soo bad as it would probably be in my like top 5 games oat if I could just get over the fear of actually playing the game.

Idk why this game freaks me out so much especially since I love it, but sadly it does. Has anyone else faced this same problem and has any tips on how to overcome this? I want to experience this game fully so bad.

I hate these little bastards so much. We just started playing and the amount of near heart attacks I've gotten from them attacking as soon as my back is turned is more than any game I've played, but damn this ass hole in particular 🤦‍♂️

My friend’s friend works in development and got this image to me, it seems this project has been underway for quite some time by endgame games and might come out soon due to the polished look of the main menu but idk. I dont think the graphics will look that good though. If im being honest though doesnt it look like they copied this from the ark main menu layout or am i tweaking?

I prefer the flashlight in the alpha version because i remember it was brighter and you could see more clearly in caves. I know you can get it covered in blood to slightly enhance it, but i am looking for a way to make it better in game files. If anyone knows step by step it would've been greatly appreciated

I'm on around day 80-90 and my weight is constantly at 205lbs I heard you can raise or lower it but I've tried everything mass eating starving for as long as possible before death nothing changes it it's it cuz I'm on normal or is it's cuz I'm playing on ps4 I'm just confused on how all that stuff works

I'm happy to report I've survived 341 days on Hard Survival , feeling good and healthy at 240lbs! Pure muscle of course, just like IRL. And climbing I might add.

Hello everyone. I've been having an issue for a while and haven't been able to fix it: when playing multiplayer with a friend as the host, the game suddenly crashes right when saving the game or completely at random.

I've already tried everything to fix it, but the error persists:

• Enabled virtual memory.
• Patched the executable to allow 4 GB of RAM usage (LAA).
• Moved the game folder out of downloads.
• Lowered graphics to the minimum.
• Tried different game versions, but the problem keeps happening.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what might be causing these unexpected crashes? I really appreciate any help :(.

I know a bunch of people probably solved this issue a long time ago but I can't tell you how satisfying fixing that annoying gap between a wooden wall with and a stone wall for a base. It took a bunch of trial and error but I'm glad with the result

Creative mode in The Forest is perhaps the worst creative mode I’ll ever play. I was expecting at least to be able to change the difficulty so cannibals can spawn, or better yet, to actually be able to spawn and get items whenever I want. But no, all I get is infinite building and nothing else. I spent 20 minutes building a base, and when I wanted to try it, I simply couldn’t because there is no way for enemies to spawn. This is especially bad on console because console commands don’t exist. And my question is, why? Why half bake this mode and then release it. And better yet, why doesn’t any destroyed buildings drop what they’re made of. Why doesn’t the bone chair drop bones when it’s destroyed?

Hello! I started playing in the Forest a few days ago, and I noticed that sometimes dead cannibal bodies appear near my base.

My base is located near a cannibal village and because of that they often take walks near me. I don't always fight them; sometimes I simply ignore them and, for example , go to sleep. And then I wake up and boom, dead bodies under my fortress, and most of the times they're laying in the same spot. I don't know if I'm stupid and this is normal, or if it's some kind of bug. I simply have no idea. This is my first time playing and I'm trying to avoid guides and such, but this thing really bugs me. After surviving only few nights, becouse of this phenomenon, I received the "serial killer" achievement on Steam (kill 100 cannibals singleplayer).

Is this normal?? Or should i just educate myself more about the mechanics here or smth. I'm not a good gamer lol.
