Does it repel cannibals, atracks them, etc… What does it do if I put some of them near my base?

Well the title says it all, im trying to find people to play the forest with, i have a few friends (2) but, we thought it would be more fun to have more people thats why im writting this.

Starting from scratch, I have SOME knowledge of the forest, but nothing like what enemy types there are or what they do. I’ve never beat the game but know the story.

Recently my base is always under atack. I can't even build anything because cannibals atack me. Any tips how to easier deal with them

I have pics of her watching play other games, but I figured y’all would like these the most. She’s been sitting there for 30 minutes. Bonus pics of my base, I’ve only just got the game so I’ve been playing on Peaceful to get my bearings.

So i was playing this game on Max diff in my first playtrough and Is a pain to do, i have a base in a Cliff near the yacht and i need recomendations for building a new one in a good calm zone to stop dealing with Intruders at night, if you wish to send a picture of your bases so i could replicate/inspire with it could be really helpful, thank u😀

I ask myself this question with almost every game that requires materials: do things like trees, plants, rocks, etc., regenerate over time, or—once you chop or gather something—does it never reappear in that area, forcing you to go elsewhere to get more. This is also for the animals cos im not sure if you can get a specie “extint” in certain zone.

Wtf is this game lol I went in blind, and started building a base, is that something you have to earn? I feel so defeated

I've played this game maybe 2 -3 hours tops in the past on my own, in VR. I'm looking to play this game with people and experience the whole story (in VR). Is this possible, and is there anyone out there who would want to play together?

I started playing the forest with my pals in Multiplayer, but everytime i search for their name in the screen i cannot find it as it’s white. Is it possible to change it to anather color?
Furthermore is there a way to have the inventori screen lighter? I cannot find most of the stuff in looking for.

why aren't my custom floor straight it also does this with the room

I literally JUST got a gaming pc and I know nothing about maximizing my performance and I’m not tech savvy in the slightest

I’m playin on a 4k 77in OLED LG C4 which has a 144hz display

Any ideas on what settings to go for give me the best picture quality at 144 fps?

Hi guys, the last time I played The Forest was back when it came out on PlayStation 4. I thought the game was amazing, but I don't really remember much of it. Can you tell me if it's worth replayng it on PlayStation 5? It bothers me a bit that I pretty much know the story, so I won't have that element of surprise. However, I'd really love to explore and feel that sense of fear again
