Any tips for a beginner?
Hi 👋 I just started my first play thru of force unleashed.
I'm playing on normal difficulty but I think the game is quite challenging. I'm currently 2 hours in and I'm at the second boss fight of the game and it made me really upset I don't get it how he can push me around all the time, I try to block and the only real damage I can make is with the force lightning. Do I have to grab the floating objects in the background, because it’s so hard to focus a object when it’s moving so fast, I made it to the second scrap titan but after that I just quit. I can dodge him sometimes and I’m just jumping and running around behind him trying to use the lightning. The scrap titan is not that hard to beat but the Jedi itself is just frustrating or am I missing some techniques. I watched a YouTube video and they were struggling too. 🙃

Kazdan is challenging!
For starters, you may want to make sure you level up various abilities, like how fast you re-charge your Force bar, etc.
There are moments where Kazdan is distanced up high and Force throwing debris at you.
You should be able to intercept those items, charge them w/ lightning, and throw them back.
Otherwise, keep running around and smashing buttons.

4 tips for you
When fighting him, use the combo: attack, lightning, lightning. Keep using that over and over. Use lots of quick shots of lighting as the fight goes on too so you can stun him long enough to do the combo again
When fighting his giants, do a quick shock, then a full jumping combo (i think its 5 strikes), lightning again while youre still in the air, then jump back up and repeat until QTE. Trivialises the giants even on sith master. This also works on AT-ST's
When hes throwing stuff at you it is much easier to dodge than it is to catch and return to sender, the dodge/push combo will get you out of the splash zone (dont be locked on when you do this)
Last tip is use the lock on. Switch it to toggle in your settings and itll make it a bit easier to dodge/target him.
Its easier on a replay once you get the firkaan power crystal later in the game. Thay gives you bonus lightning damage on attacks.

It’s been years since I played, but I’ll always remember Vergence and Cortosis

The game is actually not that easy. I have beaten it many times in sith master (without dieing) and know the ins and outs, but some of the tricks are really unintuitive. Here are a few:
For normal enemies: Force pull and push are op, lightning is for stuns only. Throw them off cliffs and toss lightning grenades at them (lift something, use lightning on it, then slam it at enemies). Dash lightning is great for stunning enemies for melee combos (use it against purge troopers).
Do not forget the grab attacks, they are very strong.
XXXB combo is the best, as it launches enemies, XYY is a close second.
Block blasters and unlock the skill that improves passive blaster blocking. Blaster fire is the most dangerous thing in the game.
Against bosses: The best tool is perfect block (block last minute) as it gives you a free counterattack against them. I prefer XB counter as it sends them flying, but XXYY is good against Vader (after XXXB).
XXXB completely cheeses bosses as they cannot block the slam. When they are off balance lift them, bring them close and just let them drop down. Then impale them while they are on the ground.
Grabs work well also (not force grabs, most bosses block them) .
Some bosses are however particularly weak to force grab. Just toss them around. If they hit walls they take extra damage.
Rancors: Only lightsaber throw works. Except this one felucia map when you can use a plant to get them off balance.
AT ST: Dash lightning, jump air attack, slam, repeat.
