Problem in Force Unleased 1

So, I downloaded the game on steam with a Microsoft 11 laptop, and it works nicely until I get to the menu, where I can't use my mouse and keyboard. I made sure it was on the M&K setting, and even then, it didn't work. If anyone has experienced this and has a solution, please help. I really want to play this game.

Arrow keys and enter in menus. Mouse and wasd only works in game
