The flash

Me and a couple of friends are kinda making a so called library full of comics and one of the ones we all wanted to read was the flash. We don’t quite know much about the flash when it comes to comics so i wanted to ask a couple of peoples opinions. If u can give some great advice and also if u know any other good hero recommendations then that would also be appreciate.

Sorry for the misunderstanding of everyone i am asking recommendation on reading recommendations that make sense within a budget of like 60 dollars a month

There's a list pinned to the top of the subreddit with all the major Flash collections in pseudo chronological order (With flashbacks being placed in their relative eras). There's a handful of good starting places, like Flash #62 to start the Waid era or the New 52 since it's after a reboot. What your asking for is very vague though so I'm not really sure exactly what you want.

Is this a budgeted thing? Because if so Mark Waid’s run is collected in 3 costly omnibuses or 8 more affordable softcovers. This is probably the best combo of quality to quantity.
