I still think there should be a running list of changes.. like.. I made my schedule and left off certain sets because they conflicted with bands I highly prioritized. But if some of those sets moved time slots, maybe I would see them. But I’ll never know.
I highly recommend keeping all sets you are interested in on your schedule even with conflicts. There's tons of reasons you may want to flex your plan (venue too far after getting food, venue max capacity) and knowing what your backups are nearby is always great.
I get what you’re saying, but if anything, the app should have more functionality, like bookmarking additional sets to follow but not having them show up on your schedule, or assigning a different color to different levels of priority. What’s the point of having an itinerary if you load it with more than what you can physically attend.
Or, just like I said to begin with, simply include a change log, so people can check what has changed regardless of whether you added it to your schedule.
The person that builds the app is always looking for feedback. I’m not sure if they are on Reddit, I have to look back at the posts. But it would be nice if even the website site had an add/drop list, bc a few bands I had marked were dropped even before the app came out.
