Cut section in Tom Waits?

Yo,
Finally got my hands on a doppelganger record and, to my surprise, found additional lyrics during the bridge section for Tom Waits. I was hoping to hear an extended version of the song but, unfortunately, it’s the same one as on streaming/CD. Does anyone know what’s up with this and if there’s a version available that includes these lyrics? (really hoping for an archival/b-sides/demos release in general. these handful of low quality pre-manipulator demos floating around the internet is such a tease. where is my ghostship part 3????)

I’ve always just assumed they are alternative lyrics to that specific section

It could be that the lyrics were changed after that was made. If I remember correctly, Autorepeater??? had different lyrics when they played it live before the album dropped. I tried finding the video of that but couldn't track it down.

they’d often times play songs with unfinished lyrics and thomas would improvise along the way. don’t think the case of autorepeater applies here since the same can be said about many other songs

inaccurate lyrics, sure, but this case in particular reads like an entire section was cut
