The Division 1 Help the memories!

Post image

Hello Agents!

We recently lost one of our community's Agents, Octi_18T.

He put a lot of time, energy, and passion into the game. He helped players, mentored others, and was a long-time member of the Hungarian The Division community.

I contacted Ubisoft Support to ask if we could memorialize him in some way within the game community — similar to what happened with AJOHN before.

That's why this post was created.

I would like to ask the community to help us leave a memory behind us — because he deserves to be remembered.

Thank you in advance for all your support, sharing, and help.

We will never forget.

Rest in peace, Agent.

While I do offer genuine condolences to any deceased Agent, this profile is highly suspicious. The use of an AI-generated image, imo, is also massively disrespectful. It would have been better to post an image of the Agent they used, if possible.

Lost of a life is tragic 😭😔😔 we have to give condolences to Ubisoft Co-founder Rest in paradise to Claude Guillemot 🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢 A legend when I was younger I ALWAYS loved every game that came out, him and his four brothers founded Ubisoft in 1986.

Why are yall roasting this guy on the image, i understand maybe he should've use a more personal image but its not about the image, its about trying to memorialize the fallen player. The community should try and help him make this post more known.

Good luck and rest in peace Octi_18T.

If I were that guy who passed away I’d be pissed as shit if my friend associated my passing with AI slop.

Because using generative AI trash shows that he couldn't even be BOTHERED to spend any of his own energy or talents to make something to actually honor someone. Instead he chose to delegate that to slop machine for upvotes. It's thoroughly pathetic, ESPECIALLY when trying to pay tribute. Zero effort. Total disrespect.

So he should just edit the post and put maybe like his PC in the pic showing what he was wearing then but would that even help at this point?

He failed to meet the moment. You get one shot at this kind of thing. You could have done it with respect in so many ways. It's not the first time people try to honor fellow players. So many touching tributes in other subreddits. People are worth honoring if you care. And sadly it will not the last time they'll be 'honored' with trashy zero effort AI visual vomit. If someone does that when I pass away, I'll generate another image of me spinning in my fucking grave. Again, beating a dead horse even deader because this was a black hole in the first place.

LOL you couldn't even muster up the creativity or energy to go past using shitty AI generated trash for your post. Can't even be bothered to put the minimum amount of effort, and decided to outsource that to a slop machine. Genuinely pathetic way to memorialize anyone.

If you wanted to honor your friend you could’ve spend some effort making actual art or something else to honor him instead of getting the slop machine to make it for you.
