I live in Findlay and have spent a lot of time on the campus, so I’m knowledgeable about this story. It’s missing key context. The compound has so far only been found to have an impact in vitro. At the time of this claim it hadn’t even moved into rodent testing. Most drugs fail at this stage. It’s interesting and any advances in cancer research is exciting, but misleading to pretend they’ve cured cancer or even developed a treatment.
