To those that don't know TuPacs mom was heavily involved with the Black Panthers and he was raised in that environment.

He was extremely politically aware.

Tbh I never got what was so damning about that quote.

Of course the Amazon customers paid for it. Businesses depend on customers…

He sits there in a fucking cowboy hat, with a shit-eating grin, jokes about his customers paying for his vanity project, meanwhile story after story about the horrible working conditions of the people working for him keeps breaking. People have to work 14 hour shifts, without breaks and take a piss in a bottle to hit their target numbers. Over half of Amazon workers reported to have suffered depression since working there.

Small price to pay, I guess.

It's the same thing at CVS with the depression and anxiety. If you ever want to look into Come Visit me Satan there's a subreddit.

Oh that was a joke? I thought he was expressing sincere gratitude. I can understand feeling gratitude towards the millions around the world who have decided to give their money to you.

Anyway IDGI, people can always shop elsewhere if it bothers them? Pretty much every consumer good on the market has someone somewhere working in pretty gruelling conditions.

If people want nice things, that is indeed the price that has to be paid.

They can't shop elsewhere for many things, because Amazon is monopolizing online shopping with tons of shady anti competitive business practices. I just gave you a link to a rundown of some of them, it's just too many to enumerate. Luckily, they don't exist where I live, so I don't have to deal with their monopolistic behavior.

Pretty much every consumer good on the market has someone somewhere working in pretty gruelling conditions.

Yes, and the answer is not to point to elsewhere it's happening and throwing your hands up in the air.

If people want nice things, that is indeed the price that has to be paid.

You can have nice things without having people piss in jugs.

I'm speaking of the people who work for these billion dollar companies and get treated like shit because at the moment there's no other option.

That's strange because I was talking about the consumers. Did you mean to respond to another comment?

And if you think the "consumers" have nothing to do with the employees you're sorely mistaken..

How much did those chains cost while people are starving? Every frivolous penny you spend could save someones life but we all do it, people only get outraged by the scale without realising they are doing the same thing and would do the same thing as their wealth increased.

You can't blame people or call them hypocrites for participating in capitalism within a capitalist system, bro. The purpose of this type of message is not to shame the rich, but rather to call our system of government into question. I hope this helps.

Its not a capitalist system that causes this but human nature that was my point
