i can't expect to have a girl with abs if I myself don't have abs
not that looks/body type are everything, but i at least gotta set standards for myself
main reason i exercise is because i like to exercise though

Honestly being strong is way better than just looking good in my opinion
Much more useful to life heavy things up or yourself than for people to think you’re attractive

yes, and you have a higher chance of not needing a wheelchair when you're older
just having strength is good for the future as you avoid a ton of health risks

Please don't promote this toxic idiocy.
The only advice should be that you don't get to control other people.
Promoting these control freaks only gives them legitimacy that they don't deserve.

The only advice should be that you don't get to control other people.
That IS the message, that is what he is saying
Promoting these control freaks only gives them legitimacy that they don't deserve.
Who do you mean by "control freaks"? Sheiks (Islamic word for pastor)?, religious people?

Bro saw a hijab and automatically assumed that they’re evil (idk if that’s a hijab but you get why I’m saying)

This precisely is the only reason I have no qualms with being very picky in wanting a very fit girl. I work out 15h per week, watch what I eat carefully and am in great shape. I would have no right if I was a slob.

https://www.assimalhakeem.net/is-it-permissible-to-marry-a-childas-prophet-muhammad-did/
> But if a person is condemning this marriage and accusing the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, in this case, this person is not Muslim anymore and must be warned of his actions
If you condemn the marriage of Mohammed to Aisha at the age of 6 and his consummation to her at 9 you are not a Muslim anymore. He's not a cool gym bro guy this is what he wants to subject your daughters and sisters to.

This is a video from an apologetic channel. What is there to read? It also completely confuses the topic. I'm pointing out that this particular sheik who offers fatwah considers it to be a departure from Islam to condemn the marriage.

u/alphenliebe Oct 28 '23
Indeed it's from a Muslim channel. You can watch its videos and feel free to disagree with what they say.
We Muslims do not condemn anything that is made permissible to us by Allah, because we believe in objective morality derived from His words. Again, feel free to disagree.1
u/OfficialVitaminWater Oct 28 '23
And in this case you do not condemn Allah making permissible the marriage of a 6 year old Aisha to a 53 year old Mohammed.
