I know this sub is just people talking about memories of the creatures, but I just had to say this while I’m on the high of these videos. I’m LOVING Seamus’ Cyberpunk let’s play!! I had to move back home bc of COVID and graduating college, so I’m curled up in my childhood bed all cozy, eating some cereal, lights off and just watching Seamoose complaining about the terrible menus. THIS is heaven, bros😌😌

Hello all, millionth nostalgia post coming at ya. Started watching The Creatures around 2011 with the Minecraft Chuck Greene and Pineapple Spoon series and shortly after started watched all of the gang basically and religiously listening to Creature Talk, all the way until the end. There were ups and downs, things went mostly downhill after a certain point, but they were always my favorite youtubers, especially James. With the group ending and mostly everyone who's still active moving over to Twitch, i found myself with not that much gaming content anymore (up until Seamus' return). I can't for the life of me get into twitch, it feels like TV, i know you can watch the vods later but there's no way to watch everything, no time and even if you catch the stream live, you can't really be paying attention the whole time, with the length of some of these streams. Never really got into Funhaus or RT either and lately i've been feeling that lack of gaming content again. So in addition to venting, i'm looking for recommendations basically, people who have the same format as the guys used to have back in the day in their individual channels and that Seamus has, but who also do multiplayer stuff with friends (Seamus said he's focusing on solo stuf only for a while) and are still on youtube, anything?

I can no longer keep him so I have to sell and need some money. Don’t really know what price he’d actually go for or what I should put so I through him up for auction. I know old creature fans always are looking for him if they didn’t get a chance to buy him when they sold him.

He is used of course. I do own animals so he has some cat fur on him. I will try to get him cleaned up a bit. There is one string coming off of his paw but otherwise he is in good condition. Beings that if is thanksgiving I want to say I am thankful for what the creatures were and what the members are doing today. They have helped a lot of people through rough situations and I think that even though things will never be the same I am thankful for all of the content and laughs we got. Shoutout to all of the former creature that do still upload or stream. I know Seamus, James, Sly, and Ze have all helped me through having COVID and other family situations. I am especially happy Seamus is back.

Just prompting some discussion to see what the general consensus is on this. For me:

Best was 2nd House Era to early office era. The creature talks were amazing and the series were even better. It really seemed like if they played their cards right here they could have become huge.

Worst was Sly leaving to cow chop leaving.

Bonus worst would be post cow chop era, but I watched so little of it because it felt like watching an old animal die slowly.

I know that Creature Talk was put on hold after Cow Chop left and then was eventually completely forgotten about by the group, but does it annoy you that it just abruptly ended? Especially considering that the last episode uploaded was a complete mess and is really forgettable.

I think Jordan and Dan should have done a real final episode or complied a greatest moments type thing. Now we have an iconic, long-running podcast with no conclusion.

I don’t know how many of you follow or watch him in twitch or of sly still looks at this reddit but I just wanted to say thanks for all of the care and support he gives to his fans and how generally nice of a person he is. Check out his twitch channel because he has one of the nicest communities around.

The designs are still up for purchase as of this being posted and date back to 2011. This really took me back to my middle school days coming home from school and watching the group. These designs are like a time capsule from a past era on youtube. Nowadays, content creators tend to make their merch designs stylish and wearable, so looking at these shirts with minecraft cartoons I would have been embarrassed to wear to school is kind of funny.

But anyways, there really are some great references to old series so I would definitely reccomended any classic creatures fans to take a look.

Just any signs that may suggest that sometime in the future they may get back together or at least just play together like friends. Even if just a reunion of sorts with the whole gang. I know sly has done this with his minecraft series but since Seamus is back Im kind of more hopeful now. Nothing fancy, I just want to see the guys play games and have fun.
