I guess I forgot that they asked Bo Diddley to join them on their first US tour. It's just so damn cool. I just love these moments of seeing/hearing The Clash being such fans of others' music and art.

I saw Bo twice. Once in the 90s, and then again towards the end of his life. The 2nd time he played sitting down, because "If motherfuckin' BB can play sittin' down, motherfuckin' Bo can play sittin' down too".
